Okay--that was weird.

One of my pictures became much larger than the other, for some reason. Screen-stretchingly large, in fact.

I corrected the problem, but the larger picture is still there, Sarek of Vulcan's post.

It was me. I keep trying to leave this place and it keeps sucking me right back in. But I have never been one to give up, so I'm sure I will eventually make another attempt at escaping the trekbbs vortex, no matter how futile it is.

We are doing well, thanks for asking. I think I might have added a couple more kiddos since I was here last too. But now the baby making factory is finally closed for business. Six is enough. I love the craziness, though.

On that note... I take this opportunity to brag (as well as make you all feel so glad you're not me, I'm sure):

Me and my husband of 13 years (he, sadly, is a different kind of geek):

And this is the brood as of February (so the littlest ones are obviously bigger now. It's time to do another family photo):

Since I'm a newbie around these parts (but certainly not in the Trek Universe ) I don't really know the story, but what compelled you to leave if you don't mind my asking?

Also, your children are beautiful (and you're gorgeous! I can't believe you're a mom of six!!) Awww ginger kids!! Sorry, I have a special fondness for us gingers

I try to leave because I spend way, way too much time here. LOL It's not conducive to living real life. So I take a hiatus for a while and find myself slowly being reintegrated back into the trekbbs collective. *sigh* I know I should stop trying... but I just can't seem to give up the idea that I might someday be fully free of the pull from this place.

That's only because my post followed yours, putting yours inside a "temporal wake". Because of that, it was somehow unaffected by changes in the timeline.
