Smallville Summer Hiatus Thread III (Spoilers)

I imagine thousands of years earlier Nabu tried to be a hero.

Darkseid decapitated him.

And then we see Desaad cleaning the meat off and polishing Nabu's skull until he's finished making that helmet.

How can you have a story about gods walking the earth and not parallel Christianity? Sure Stargate did in all but one where they met the devil, but regular people like seeing their history made larger than life. It's fun.

As our friend Buck Rogers would say...we shall have to wait and see where they go with it.

By the way...I highly recommend doing a Smallville search at Deviantart there's some pretty cool stuff in there. Tons of crap...but some gems as well.

That 'copter looks really cool....and agreed with Jetfire. Regarding Allison Mack...five episodes is shorter than we all excepted but still considering that most of us thought she wouldn't survive last season that's still pretty good. Until we are shown or told otherwise I'm calling her final character arc "The Return of Fate". As for Lionel...since he's dead I'm sure that they're use him similar to how they're using Jonathon as dream visions maybe for the clone Lex Luthor.

Or it's possible that since he was the avatar for Jor-El, perhaps he'll appear as a projection of AI Jor-El in the Fortress.

That to me would make the most sense, but then again, I'm not overly impressed with Clark going to his high school reunion so what do I know?

About Chloe, yeah, only five eps sucks, but as you said considering the fact that most of us thought she wouldn't survive last season, I'll take what I can get.

Alison might only be in 5 episodes, but how many episodes is Dr. Fhlovage going to be in without the need for Alison to be on set at all?

It's a cheap trick.

but could just spread her goodies round well.

Nah we knew from about late May or early June that Allison would be returning on a reduced schedule. At first I thought it might be similar to Eric Durance's original contract which was thirteen episodes but five is surprising and also goes with what we know about Chloe's character arc about missing for a number of episodes.

Don't JLers appear in like 5 eps??? Horrible for Chloe but I am sure it is great for AM...hope they can do her right and it not end in disaster...remember; "Chloe won't get a send off...we love her" -Brian or Kelly.

IF there is a 2011 Comic Con panel you should totally bring this up. Unless you get "cut off".

Giant head of Jor'el as Lionel, Lionel in white Kryptonian garb with \S/

Weird

I think they mentioned that some of the Justice League could appear this season but didn't confirm who...this was back a couple months ago. Then again they've said so much shit since then that they're starting to contradict themselves.

My question is, why isn't Clark...

:guffaw:

They cut you off (thinking they know where you're going), but you force out the last word "gay?"

Then continue with: "I mean, look at all the evidence..."

Eleven Smallville Spin-Offs That Should Happen By Craig Byrne
(Interesting read)

http://www.kryptonsite.com/

1. The Blue Beetle
2. The Justice League (though you can give it another name if you must)
3. Isis
4. Captain Marvel/Shazam!
5. Green Arrow
6. The Suicide Squad
7. Justice League International
8. Supergirl
9. The Flash
10. Wonder Woman
11. Young Bruce Wayne

Not on this list, though I'd like to put them out there, would be The Phantom Stranger, Deadman, Dr. Thirteen: Ghost Breaker, Adam Strange, the Teen Titans, Warlord, The Legion of Super-Heroes, and Rip Hunter: Time Master. Not sure if any of those characters would work in a Smallville episode to launch from, but I'm just throwing them into the hat.

Personally I would like to see a Zatanna spinoff myself.

I think a Zee mini-series investigating some kind of magical mysterious would be in the cards. I'd see that in a heart beat.

@Othello I see Zatanna getting tossed into potential JL spin-off...having her own series would be cool though.

@CorporalClegg :lol:

I think if AM was interested, a show with her as Dr Fate and have Zatanna and maybe characters we haven't seen would be cool.
