Smallville Summer Hiatus Thread III (Spoilers)

Yeah I missed her episodes of Chuck not on purpose, just never saw them. So I guess Aussilero has confirmed our theories regarding Chloe becoming Dr. Fate or at least wearing the helmet.

Either way, it makes way for Allison/Chloe to leave for a bit and have Oliver search for her.

It doesn't sound like she goes into a comatose state though if people are looking for her.

I think they screwed up bringing in Lois Lane so early...maybe not even that...but making her a regular...it went from SMALLVILLE to Lois & Clark Part Deux...as far as relationships go Clark and Lana should have been done way better and been the centerpiece of the series along with him becoming Superman.

I predicted that she disappears when she puts on Fate's helmet and goes into a mystical training phase.

At least some gets to be transported away for long term training >_>

Jor-el should have locked the training program. At the beginning of season 9 Clark was training but his emotions were somewhere else.

Season 5 a security feature interrupted the training.

Yeah Chloe discovering the Fortress thanks to using the key...isn't that an ongoing inside joke in Superman? People always finding the Fortress of Solitude despite it being located supposedly in a remote location in the North Pole? I know someone has suggested that the entirety of Smallville is a holographic training simulation created by Jor-El and Clark is inside of the holo-chamber lol. I think it actually was a friend of mine who suggested that...it would certinally explain why he's not become Superman and acted douchey. He wakes up from the chamber in the suit and flies off after finding out it's been ten years since he left the Kent farm.

UPDATED 8/10/10: James Marsters plays Brainiac 5, the future counterpart of his villain from previous seasons. Kelly Souders tells TV Guide that he is a "slippery fish with a questionable moral compass" despite being part of the Legion of Super-Heroes.
- There are at least two things in this episode that will make "Clois shippers" very happy.

:wtf: in Bold. Kelly, seriously?

Double

Besides, hasn't Marsters already played one of those? :sigh:

This is just a small little fanboy thing from me but I hope that if indeed Chloe becomes Fate that they tie it in with the line from the Legion that they have no records of Chloe Sullivan existing from this era and explain that Dr. ChlovFate has erased them herself. "There was no Chloe Sullivan Clark...for now and always I am Doctor Fate."

Chloe is in an odd place...she could be the new Dr. Fate or become something else...or just be Chloe Sullivan...I hate the fact they feel they need to align with DC mythos when clearly...SMALLVILLE is something all it's own.

Since Chloe is apparently finally making her DCU debut in a few months I think she's going to be given a good send off. Interestingly enough about a year or so after Lana became Kryptonite Woman DC had her become infected by the Insect Queen requiring Kara to use Kryptonian technology to purge the alien DNA from her body. She's abandoned by Kara and left alone. Personally I think the creators based Lana on her modern comic counterpart and not her innocent high school version that was Clark's high school sweetheart. She's been kind of an interfering bitch in the appearances that I've seen her in.

I prefer what is in bold.
