This whole thing with the Lex clone really isn't exciting to me...what else would one expect from Lex Luthor?

I am just glad we are going to see The \S/uit and hear Lois call him Superman before the last 30 seconds of the series...from what I gather TW will be in The \S/uit & flying sooner rather than later which is good.

I know this is Smallville...but Blue Beetle & Booster Gold are going to be great!!!

I don't want to be bring things down but from what was said at comic con Tom Welling said he doesn't know if you'll see him in the suit.

You'll see the suit but with Tom in it is the question

And the suit prop is a modified Superman Returns outfit

I kinda got chills when Clark flies up and catches ths DP globe. Blue Beetle & Booster Gold stuff is exciting. I am cool with CK wearing SR \S/uit. I read on K-Site...Deadshot is the guy gunning for Clark in "Shield".

So yes we all know it is a modified Superman Returns suit.

Will Clark wear the iconic red and blue suit this year? All Peterson would say was, "Tom is in a little different change up from the black suit last year."

The Clone Lex storyline is straight from the early 90's Superman comics and if it paves the way for Michael to return later this season as an aged clone then I'm all for it, they meant what they said about leaving the door open. As for Tom being cryptic regarding him wearing the suit of course he'd state that right now. I'm not expecting him to put it on until at least the final two or three episodes.

The Lex cloning himself is standard Lex Luthor like I said before...it would be great to see MR again.

I really don't get what the big deal at this point with TW wearing the iconic \S/uit for a majority of the season...I believe Brian Peterson said before Clark would be wearing something more along the lines of the iconic \S/uit for season 10...not the black outfit.

• Some form of the real Superman suit popped up in the promo, so which Tom said he hadn't seen it in person yet, and Brian promised we'd see Clark in an outfit other than the black one we're seeing now. "Whatever we do, I want to make sure we earn the suit at the end," Tom told us after the panel.​

Ok I still can't wrap my brain around this suit thing. We know...

- he's ditching the black dud's
- he's adding more colour to his look
- they've shown us the suit
- Welling hasn't put it on yet so it's not in the first few episode's anyway

In those "vision" sequences with Jon he's wearing his flannel jacket again...probably Clark's idealized time frame. You know as much as I hate what the writers did to her character I really want Kristen back if only to rectify this Kryptonite Woman shite. "Homecoming" would seem like the perfect episode to do so but maybe there will be an announcement later on. I could see Lionel appearing in a flashback "vision" to clone Lex. There's also still how Darkseid and the New Gods will fit into all of this. I wonder if we'll see Big Barda and Mr. Miracle at some point?

Brian Peterson said he(Clark) will be wear something different starting with the episode "Shield" until we get images...we can only wonder.

Big Barda & Mr. Miracle would be cool. I am glad about the Lionel appearing...one of the things I wanted in S10.

I wonder what New Gods other than Darkseid we'll see? Orion? Metron? I'm a huge Metron fan so that'd be awesome. I'm actually really really excited to see Booster Gold WITH SKEETS. I never in a million years thought I'd see Skeets in Smallville.

From the bits of Comic Con footage no one asked if Kristen was coming back. It was all Rosey Rosey Rosey.

I do remember someone posting in this thread posting something about Tom wanting her back and he wouldn't mind a chance to reexplore a Lois/Clark/Lana triangle again and we all gave him heck for that comment. I wouldn't be shocked if it was announced in the next few months.

That's pretty much my take on it as well. As much as I'd like to see him as Supes for most of the season, I just can't see it happening until the end. I'd love to be wrong.

That said, I hope to hell that Kara kicks his ass when she returns and finds out that he still can't fly.
