Smallville Summer Hiatus Thread III (Spoilers)

First Two Season 10 Directors Revealed!

Unless something changes, we now know who will be directing the first two episodes of Smallville Season 10.

Episode #10.1, "Lazarus," will be directed by Kevin Fair, and Episode #10.2, which we do not yet have a title for, will be directed by Glen Winter.

I have a strong feeling...I could easily be wrong...we will see John Glover(Lionel) somehow in S10. :bolian:

Most likely it will be Clark spending half the episode recovering from blue Kryptonite.

Then Chloe will make some tea and he'll save the day.

Or it's about Ra's Ah Ghul

I was thinking Ra's but they'd not be able to use him since he was used in "Batman Begins" if John does come back I'd suggest it was in a flash back or dream sequence same way I think Jon Schneider will be used.

Sweep her off her feet and that's what makes Perry take the open EIC job at the Daily Planet. Wanna hinge a bet we'll see Zee make a return? Two consecutive seasons with her, they wanna go for the hat trick!

She's like a noir punk gumshoe compared to Doctor Fate who is like the police Commissioner of the universe following the metaphor... Seeing the two of them coexist on screen with Chloe in the middle protestation that magic isn't real, would be neat.

Chloe would be confused around them and attempt to explain their feats with science...and it'd be sweet if a new host for Dr. Fate appeared. Maybe they would bring in Nabu.

Since they referenced the Green Lanterns last season I wonder if they'd be allowed to use the Black Lanterns this season. How would people handle BL Jonathan Kent and BL Lionel Luthor? What about BL Henry James Olson for the trifecta!

The Starheart only thinks that it is a Green Lantern Ring. some serious identity issues that thing has... Though it's not a thing-ring, because that is completely different.

Smallville Season 10 Begins Shooting!

From the official Facebook page of Smallville's producers...

"Cameras started rolling today! We just welcomed Allison and Tom back to the set."

Hopefully this means we might have some new spoilers shortly...

Smallville Lands On A Special TV Guide Magazine Cover!

TV Guide Magazine is doing a special Comic-Con issue soon, and Smallville is one of four series that will be spotlighted on the cover - the other series being Warner Bros. productions The Big Bang Theory, The Vampire Diaries, and Human Target.

TV Guide reports that the Warner Bros. Television Group will distribute copies of the magazine throughout the five days of Comic-Con (including Preview Night) exclusively at the Warner Bros. booth, #4545, on the convention floor, and then the special issue will then be available on newsstands

NX I like the way you think...but that'd be really tough to explain even spread out among 22 episodes. I'd just like to see Hal Jordan make an appearence. Outside of Bruce and Diana I'd like to see Hal or maybe John, Guy, or Kyle.

Saw Erica on Stargate last night. It was as if she was deflated.

Not to mention that she was playing a character who was afraid a lot.

I could hardly see Lois at all.

Let Kyle fade away.

He served his purpose.

Now what is he good for?

Making grandchildren for Sinestro?

I was looking at a discussion of writers tweets from Kryptonsite and they mentioned a "Skeleton Key"?

I still think a cool idea would be for the Chlovage to assume the mantle of the Helmet of Nabu and become the new Dr. Fate. It would be in keeping with two things previously brought up on the show:

1. The Legion having no records of Chloe Sullivan in the future. She would effectively erase all records that she ever existed before becoming the Doctor.

2. Fate himself made reference to the fact that Chloe walks the same path as he did. It may just be me, but I felt that was a bit of serious foreshadowing.

And oh yeah, I'm all for a return of Zatanna as well!

Allison Mack Takes To The Stage

Allison Mack has joined the cast of Nora and Delia Ephron's off-Broadway Love, Loss, and What I Wore at the Westside Theatre in Manhattan starting July 28. The performances for this limited run will continue through August 29, and also features Victoria Clark, Adriane Lenox, Jayne Houdyshell, Kate Mulgrew, and Kristine Nielsen.

This news was first announced at Playbill.com.

Hopefully this month-long gap doesn't mean that Allison will miss Smallville's 200th episode, which should be shooting around that time. Thus far Allison's Season 10 contract as Chloe and the amount of Season 10 episodes she will be appearing in have not been confirmed. It is also possible that the number of performances per week won't affect her time for Smallville, but again, there is no way to know unless official word comes from show representatives.

Fans of Allison, however, should take a chance to see Allison performing on stage - if you go, let us know how it turns out!

Me too. :(

They will just use a recording of her to interact with the cast on set like they did in the big Justice league "conversation" they had in the final because it was too hard to organize every ones blackberries.

be like one of those old board games that interacted with a video casset.

If Smallville had any heart, they'd write the play into an episode and advertise the shit out of it form Alison.

:)

Go Ally go and Procturus I'd get behind both your suggestions. @Guy Gardner...yep I love that episode of SG-1. Erica was terrific in that episode. It saddens me a bit that Smallville doesn't really tap into her acting ability which she does have. See the quirky movie "Me, Myself, and I" where she plays a character who swears off relationships and plans a wedding to herself but ends up falling in love with I believe the first Mr.Smith from "Twice in a Lifetime"
