Smallville Summer Hiatus Thread III (Spoilers)

^

Good idea!

"Uh, yeah Allison, in that scene where you were strapped down to a table by LuthorCorp scientists, what was the worst part? Being naked or the Mad Dentist's Torture Device holding your mouth open?"

Don't knock the dental gag! We don't get many of those on TV!

How come every time someone makes a SV credits thing they use "Kryptonite?" Way to be original ... or not obvious.

Kristin Kreuk for 'Smallville' return?

Former Smallville star Kristin Kreuk is reportedly in talks to return to the show for the final season.

The actress last appeared as Lana Lang in the eighth season episode 'Requiem'. According to Fancast, the character will return "for sure" in at least part of the tenth season.

However, a spokesperson for Kreuk apparently later denied the claims, insisting: "I don't see any Smallville in her future… I'm sure of it."

Kreuk herself also questioned whether Lana should come back. "The show has changed so much it would be weird for her to come back in," she said. "She was from a different Smallville time."

Smallville is due to return in September on The CW.

In bold--Why do they do this?

I hope KK does come back for an ep or 2. :)

Okay guys, I should've done this first before posting the above: According to Kryptonsite, Welling, Cassidy, Hartley and Durance will be there, along with the afore-mentioned Souders & Petersen. Geoff Johns will be the panel's moderator.

It's still several weeks away, so I'm not going to get bummed just yet that Ally isn't onboard for this. Since this is most likely the final Smallville panel at Comic-Con, I'm hopeful she'll be a part of it.

It would be sad for AM to distance her self from the show at this point...but since she won't be a regular for S10...I can kinda see why she won't be on the panel.

A valid point, but still, you think she could spare one day out of her schedule to make time to help promote the show. And based on YouTube videos of past CCs, she genuinely seems to enjoy doing it.

OTOH, I could just be rationalizing my desire for her to appear.

Comic Con details. Looks like last's years but BIGGER. Oh wait no Allison.

From Ausiello Files

I’ve got good news for the thousands of Smallville fans making the trek to San Diego on July 25 for the show’s final Comic-Con panel ever: It won’t suck. And here are five reasons why…

* Tom Welling will be there! The show’s leading man and exec producer will be making his second appearance at the Con.

* Welling will be joined by returning series regulars Erica Durance, Cassidy Freeman, and Justin Hartley at the show’s panel on Sunday at 10 a.m.

* Showrunners Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson will also be present to answer all your burning questions about the show’s 10th and final season.

* Did I mention acclaimed Smallville writer Geoff Johns will be moderating said panel discussion?

* Last but not least: You’ll be treated to an exclusive first look at the season premiere!

Now all we need is someone from our little group here to attend and report on this thread.

:techman:

(not me, though, I'm in Ohio).

:(

I hate it because they always get idiots asking questions and trying to get the name thingys...like some want to tell a little story before asking a question or they just want to comment on something and not ask anything at all.

Pro Hopefully we can get the YT footage fast.
