I'm so geeky, the first 3 apps that I got for my new smart phone were: 1) Google Sky Map 2: Dice Bag (for my D&D dice rolling needs), 3: Tricorder app

Also, I worked at a restaraunt for 10 years and only went through a certain door in one direction while making a teleporting sound.

 

I'm so geeky that I confuse my mother whenever I talk about anything computer related. A typical dialogue might go like this:
"I think it's a problem with the motherboard."
"The what?"
"The thing that holds the computer's memory and stuff."
"Oh...right."

Ten years ago I was in the scifi section of a bookstore and my daughter, who was almost 3, yelled, "Look, mommy, little Enterprise!" and pointed to a TOS book. BBC was rerunning TNG and TOS at the time, and TOS had the "little Enterprise".

 

I'm such a geek I won the old startrek.com online trivia contest 3 times - and kept all the prizes, most in the original packaging.

 

I'm so geeky that I sit within reach of a soldering iron.
