Call of Duty: Black Ops

coming November 10 2010

anyone know anything else?

It's actually November 9th...

Rumour has it that it's a Cold War era Delta Force game - the teaser trailer on Callofduty.com definitely shows Vietnam era choppers and a space race spacesuit.

Comes over as a sort of Call Of Duty: You Only Live Twice...

I'm expecting Activision to merge their Call of Duty and Guitar Hero milked franchises into one game someday soon.

I have yet to reach my first prestige on CODMW2 yet and another MW is on the way.

I will get this one but not a launch this time round, three COD games is enough to have at the preset, give me time to at least complete the single player on COD5WAW.:)

World at War was pretty cool, but it could get extremely aggravating on Veteran. Treyarch is a better developer than people give them credit for. Black Ops is probably going to be my last CoD game, though.

I'm looking forward to the spread of weapons/equipment as its supposed to cover several decades.

Here's the uncut reveal trailer for Black Ops, which debuted last night during the NBA playoffs. Personally, I think it looks awesome. The 1960s/1970s are just modern enough to keep things interesting without all the high-tech gimmickry we saw in MW2.

That crossbow is probably going to be a pain in multiplayer, though.

last week's Zoo (finally read it today) had a preview: locations include Vietnam, Cuba, Angola and the USSR. you play as a US character and a Soviet. your character WILL TALK IN-GAME! MP will have new modes and some kind of system for making it more even - no more 13 year old snotty brats pwning your butt all night. :techman:
