Dating taller?

I'm around six feet, so I don't really meet women who are taller. It wouldn't matter to me, though. Among the new batch of Residents just before I left BMC was a woman from Africa who was probably about two inches taller than me; she was quite pretty to begin with, but her height just seemed to make her more stunning.
I don't know whether I'd date someone taller. So far, only one person I've dated wasn't 5'4.5" (I'm 5'9.5", which is the male equivalent of the same genetic height), though I didn't realize they were the same height when I first started dating them (their shoe heights varied). One person I dated was 5'0", which felt a little odd, but I and she got together somewhat unusually (we'd both seen the other in a crowd of uniformed persons and thought them attractive, then moved on, until her friend insisted that we be introduced, and we both went along to be nice . . . as it happened, we had quite a lot in common, and what we didn't was quite complimentary).
I suppose it's possible that I'd date someone taller than I, but I've not yet been involved with someone taller than 5'4.5", every girl I remember being attracted to whom I've known (except the one above) was also in the 5'4"-5'5" range, and even the movie/television stars I've found attractive tend to be of the same range of height.

Hmmm...interesting question. Well I'm 5'8'' bare feet, and with heels, I get pretty close to the six foot mark! My last boyfriend was a bit taller that 6'0'', and that felt comfortable to me. I wouldn't have any qualms about dating anyone taller, or shorter either. I've just never had a shorter guy than me ask me out...
But personal preference, I think I'd go with a taller guy. I like the feeling of being protected, not all damsel-in-distress, but since I'm tall, I think I'd feel slightly self-conscious that I was dating a significantly shorter man. But this is all theory since I've never had the pleasure!

Are you sure you are not half-Italian?That's how tall my dad is, and he's had two wives shorter than him. In fact, my late uncle's wife, at 5'5" is the tallest person on that side of my family, other than their son who is also 5'5" (both of my uncles are/were also 5'3"; my grandfather claimed to have been 5'5" at one point but I never saw any evidence of that). I'm the tallest female blood relative, clocking in at a whopping. 5'1 3/4".

As I posted, Hubby is 6' 1". We met a guy a Disneyland years ago, nice kid working at the magic store. He had to be at least 6' 7". Some months later, we met up with him and his girlfriend. She was near his height. I'm too short to be able to compare that well, and Hubby ... looked short! I got a crick in my neck looking up so much while we talked.
So, there's tall girls out there. Real tall girls.
If there's a woman out there taller than me, I'm not sure I'd want to meet her, much less date her!
No offense, but I am one of the tallest people my friends know.
But I don't date women who are too short, either...learned that lesson after takin' a girl who was 4'10" to the movies. She was eye to eye with my belly button and people kept starin'.

I am 6'2" almost 6'3" and I don't see it working.

Tallest I've gone out with was about 6' 2", so yes I would, though it depends on the woman. I usually go for women in the 5' 2" to 5' 4" range though.
Us 5'4 and under women are awesome.
Mind you, I'm 5'3 and a half, so i barely make it

I'm 5'6", my last gf was a few inches tall than me so I guess my answer is yes. I do prefer shorter women though, but it is in no way a requirement.
