Thanks Tom for starting this up. Seems like I'm the only one watching it right now (unless you are as well).

It seems that no one posts as it airs but the posts build up over the few days after. BTW, Chloe is cute and military outfit, I going to order her to do push ups with me ;)

What was the music his wife was playing earlier in th episode? It was very familiar, but I can't put a name to it.

Worst episode yet.... I just don't care about Rush's past. I can;t stand the character. It was interesting that Rush was upset he was unable to solve the Cipher.

What exactly s Rush's field of study. It appears to be either math or compuer science.

Well the episode was a bore, it was cliffhanger. it clear from the previews they get out of a tunnel and gate to another world and probably get back to destiny that way.

LOL they ruined the climax by showing that they get out in the preview haha

I honestly found it interesting they left them there, I didn't expect the episode would actually end with them getting stuck there. So that did surprise me. However, it is obvious either Rush is able to gain control of the ship or they gate to a world that is along Destiny's stops. My guess is that Rush is able to gain some control of the ship, else this episode would have meant nothing right? So its kinda obvious.

Other than that, it was a sleepy episode. that actually sums up most of SGU.

I also wanted Daniel's appearance to be real, not fake. I love the character, but I wanted to really see Daniel there, either by way of the stones, or an honest to goodness flashback, but I feel robbed because this Daniel was fake. Kinda like how Sam was fake in that one SGA episode with Rodney stuck in a jumper under the water. They go through all that trouble to get Jackson on SGU, then it turns out to be a vision. I want him to REALLY be there, use the stones, get him on the ship.

I'm actually really shocked Daniel hasn't visited the Destiny yet by stones. They made a point that he was really interested in visiting Atlantis, and never could for a while, but really wanted to, yet he doesn't want to see the Destiny? He should have been one of the first people to use the stones to take a tour of the Destiny.

Think we could go back to the 1-10 ratings system for the next episode? It's probably just me, but I preferred that system. If others don't agree, no biggie.

I'll be watching this episode on demand tomorrow or the next day. Too bad Daniel doesn't show up for real--but the writers pulled that twice before already on Stargate Atlantis in "Grace Under Pressure" (fake Sam) and "The Real World" (fake Jack), so it's not a huge surprise.

I really liked this episode. Rush is one of my favorites, so I enjoyed getting more background on him. I was surprised that some people were left behind. Of course it won't be forever, too many major characters involved.

One thing about SGU that I really enjoy is that they don't always do what I'm expecting. Let's say it was Trek (nothing against Trek, I love that too) well they would have been pulled off the planet right at the end for sure. Or in the previous episode, not having the big bad monster alien show up to make them leave. I really like that.

I keep seeing people complain about the show being dull.. well it seems pretty well established that this just isn't a regular action sci-fi show like the previous Stargates. It is more of a character study. I think this is a good thing.

Not every sci-fi show needs to be action packed all the time. I enjoy the change of pace.

Damn right it's not, it's a crappy rip off of BSG ahahhahahahhaah this shit is hilarious

It's all been said, but I gotta say it too.

- Nice to see Daniel Jackson, but I would have loved to have seen the real one as opposed to HeadDaniel.

- The ending with them stranded surprised me too. Wasn't expecting it.

I also liked seeing a bit of Rush's past along with what happened to his wife. Can't wait to find out what his ultimate plans are with regards to the Destiny.

Overall, it was an enjoyable installment. I even liked the Chloe/Eli bit. You know he's still bitter that she's sleeping with Scott.
