I thought he was calling Russell a little man.
Nope he was calling Coach that because he wouldn't stick by his word. Coach always played out to be honorable man and that his word stands but really Coach is full a crap.
Anyway i was sorry to see Rob gone. He is a great player but Tyson dumbass move really cost him the game.
I have to give Russell a credit because he actually played his card well but we have to remember that Russell does have advantage over the rest of the villains as nobody as seen him play.
Who knows but Russell is in a good position but you never know. Sandra and Courtney are now outsiders on the Villians tribe so if there is a merge, They could flip over to the Heroes. Sandra played with Rubert in her previous season and Courtney played with Amanda. So there is connection
Regarding Russell being the best player ever in Survivor history. I have to disagree. You have to win Survivor to be the best and Russell lost in Samoa.
Well this just goes to show you how 2 people can see the same thing and see 2 different things. What I saw was Rob look at Russell and call him a little man and Russell reacting to that comment.
BUT most people saw it your way. Guess I'm just nuts.
I thought Rob called Russell "little man" too, not Coach, but he clarified it in his exit interview later.
Yep just watched that clip and he left no doubt. I guess I was reacting to Russell reacting to the comment because it appeared to me that Russell was PO'd when Rob said that and maybe Russell thought the same thing I did.
I think Rob harsh comments to Coach was because he was pissed. Rob ws hoping that Coach would stick by his word and vote for Russell and force a tie. So if there is a tie there could have been possibility that Jerry would have chanced her vote to Russell in the re vote to avoid the dreaded purple rock being played or some kind of fire challenge between Rob and Russell
I kinda agreed with Coach in not wanting the Russell vs Rob vote because they're both the most interesting people in this game so to eliminate one sucks.
I'm really surprised Russell has lasted this long, I figured with him ending up with the villains and none of them knowing who he was because this taped before his season of Survivor aired that they would be so mistrustful of the guy he'd get voted out early.
Plus his lack of bravado in the interviews leading up to the airing of this season led me to believe he'd been knocked out early. He still may go pre-merge or just after the merge, but I think he's probably feeling puffed up and pretty full of himself for knocking out Boston Rob

But Coach de-facto did vote for Rob. Sometimes you can't be neutral, sometimes you have to pick a side, and Coach knew full well that a vote for Courtney is a vote for Rob. Maybe voting for Courtney didn't violate the letter of Coach's personal "hero code" in his delusional mind, but it certainly violated the spirit of his agreement with Rob since his throw-away vote decided who goes home that night. Rob was justified in being angry with Coach imo, but it was a useless comment anyway since I don't think anybody - on the island or in front of the tv - is actually fooled by Coach's persona (entertaining as he is). I'm still not convinced he even believes that stuff himself.
I think there's absolutely no chance Russell gets voted out before the merge now that Rob is gone unless he gets hurt, he's probably the safest person out there right now and the merge is probably coming soon anyway. There are now 12 people left - that would be a good number if there's a 3-person finale again, or maybe the week after that if there's a 2-person finale.
No idea what's going to happen after the merge. It's hard for me to imagine Courtney and Sandra staying with Russell unless it's absolutely critical for them to stay on the island, and who knows what the deal is with Parvati and Amanda and how Russell fits in there...
Russell forced Rob's hand, and again Rob made a mistake this week by playing Russell's game - he should have targeted Parvati again, then getting Coach and Jerri defecting would have been a lot more difficult.
In retrospect, that probably would have been the right move. The risk is that Jerri and Coach would have been even more willing to align with Russell once Parvati was removed from the equation. That would put Rob's alliance down 4 to 3 and limit Rob's options in the merge. I think Rob was pretty much screwed after last week's tribal, and getting rid of Russell (this week) was probably his last move.
Yeah, Rob's chances probably didn't look so good after the merge anyway. Although Colby and Candice are sort of wild cards too I guess.

I liked Boston Rob this time, not so in the past. Russel is the best player to never win Survivor, but I think he's going to get ambushed by Pavarti. I think she is the one to watch because she oozes 'sex' and I think that can go along way on this show...

I know the feeling. In the past, there wasn't a word that could properly convey my loathing of him, but for some reason, he didn't bother me so bad this time. He's still Rob, but he was toned down a lot IMHO so that he wasn't so much of an arrogant jackass as in the past. Maybe married life and a few years passing by has helped him to grow up a little.
Oddly enough, Russell is pretty much the other side of the same coin when it comes to being an arrogant jackass, but yet I've never minded him too bad.
I'm exactly the other way round, I loved Rob in his earlier seasons and despised him this time. 
Russell isn't really in a great spot. He needs Pavarti's vote to maintain numbers but can't afford to keep her around or she'll flip, make an all girl's team and dump him. Pavarti is the dangerous one now.
I have to admit that Rob didn't choose the best of allies. Then again, he didn't really have much to work with...He at least would have had a chance at the numbers in a merge had Russell gone instead of Tyson. That would have kept Coach in his corner and possibly even Jerri. Parvati would have been next to go. Rob's alliance was a group of fair-weather friends. Most of them were going to flip at the first sign of trouble (assuming they could find some half-decent new allies).
I'm sad to see Rob go, he played hard and was instrumental in winning several of the challenges. I must admit I've always liked him, every season.

His ego was too much of a barrier for the jury his first season and he should have figured that out. I don't disagree that the jury was a bunch of sore losers, but he should have figured that out. It didn't matter who was the person with him at the finals, the jury was going to give it to them and not Russell.

There was a strong religious thing going on in that season as well. I think whoever was the "religious" one at the end was the one going to get the win.
