    My apologies everybody, its meat, carrots, peas, potatoes, onions, topped with slices of thin potato and oven cooked until the top is crispy.....Hotpot, basically anything you want throw in it, its all good.

    Why is this funny? :confused:

    Is this some kind of regional slang or something? Because what you call a 'hotpot' looks an awful lot like a stew to me. Except for the coating of potatoes on the top.

    In any case, it's too fancy for me to recognize on one go. Remember, you're talking to someone who thinks stadium hot dogs are gourmet eating. :lol:

    Skinless, boneless chicken breast, marinated in garlic sauce.
    Red skin potatoes with green beans in Rosemary sauce.
    Yellow sweet corn.

    My wife turned in her last grad school project for this term, so we celebrated by going to the diner last night. Breakfast for me (sunny side up eggs, grilled ham, hash browns and pancakes) and clam chowder and pot roast for her.

    Last night I made for my bro and I...chicken legs based in butter and oregeno and Tarrabon leaves. Had baked potatoes with them as well. Yum. Cinnamon Buns for dessert.
