This is rather belated, but his lukewarm review of "Sacred Ground" is up. It was a rather dull, weird episode (and one of the reasons S3 was overall weak). It kinda reminds me of "Masks".

This was actually one of my most favorite episodes of Voyager..not the BEST BEST BEST episode, but a wonderful one. I liked the spiritual aspect of it..and how in the end Janeway questions her scientific thinking compared to what she went through in the ritual to save Kes's life. I do agree to some extent that it was a little eerie and strange, but I really enjoyed it. The best part was how concerned Chakotay was for Janeway when she was down on that planet..he thought she had gotten poisoned with some unknown toxin from the snake that bit her and that she had been without sleep for three days. He was extremely worried..as was Neelix.

"Masks" had a good story to it, almost like a mystery and archeology parts to it that made it interesting.

"Sacred Ground" lacked that.
