Dr Crusher's ridiculous skirt

It may have been in the ep (season 3) where Picard is replaced with a duplicate while he is in a holding cell with three aliens, one of whom is very hungry and wants to eat the peacenik. I think Crusher wears that skirt when she has dinner with "Picard," who comes on to her, only to rebuff her and tell her goodnight.

I'm annoyed though, by this thread, because I can almost picture the skirt in question, but I can't place it. I'm wondering now if it was Crusher who wore it, or someone else.

It's a hideous color, given her hair color and complexion. And what's with the top... it looks like the sleeves shrank in the wash!

It's like it's just beyond reach. The description is ringing a bell but I can't put my finger on it. I can't help wondering if it is Deanna's outfit from Ménage à Troi I'm remembering.

Gates had some pretty dodgy wardrobing in TNG...

Her other civvies that I can recall - the dress with no shoulders, the brown pinafore from Suspicious, the Blue knit sweater which turned up a couple of times, and the maroon sweater-dress from Lonely Among Us. Also, satin pajamas, slinky ghost-lovin' nightie, and frumpy pink nightie.

When you list it out like that, yeah, pretty dodgy.

Add the back to front leotard from her gym sessions with Troi.

I'm not sure. It seems like Chrusher's skirt was longer at the back than Deanna's.

I know what's happened here. We've all had some substandard mindwipe and are trying to break through the programming.

Isn't there a thread here from someone who's rewatching all of TNG? Maybe we should ask them to keep an eye out?
