Wait, you preferred Transformers?!I wasn't a fan of the original film. It didn't have nostalgia going for it like Transformers did
The stupid-looking supervillain with the suit, right?Who the fuck's bright idea was it to use fucking Whiplash, is what I want to know. Whiplash. Christ.
I fear this. Honestly, more than anything else, Iron Man reminded me of Pirates of the Carribbean. The trailer points to a sequel that tries to be too trying too hard to top the first and only making a schlock film in the attempt to go bigger.
That's how I see Trek XII fear this. Honestly, more than anything else, Iron Man reminded me of Pirates of the Carribbean.
Basically, both films have very solid, tongue-in-cheek lead performances from highly accomplished actors... but as films they're pretty mediocre, run-of-the-mill action adventure romps.
The rub of this comparison: Pirates too had sequels. Um.
I see.yes, I did. It was a lot of fun, mixed with something I've never really seen (robots to cars etc) mixed with some humor, and Nostalgia. I mean the scene with Scorponok alone was more exciting than anything in Iron Man.

I thought it was the biggest pile of shit I've ever seen.
