i'm curious about SW:TOR... from what i've seen it looks like more of a single-player game that lets you party with people online. the massively multi-player part probably comes from some public hub towns you hang out in before heading off into an instanced quest...
will it kill WoW? no. what's the worse that could happen? TOR becomes the MMO with the larger player base... doesn't mean WoW is dead by any stretch of the imagination. let's also not forget that Cataclysm is rumored to launch sometime next year. if those launches are close together, i dont think TOR is going to come out as strong as it could have.
my last beef with TOR, has more to do with my beef with Bioware. when it comes to storytelling they are great. when it comes to gameplay, game balance and user-interface, they have A LOT of room for improvement.
it'll be interesting to see TOR. but i think Blizzard has their own game to focus on, not TOR.
