When compared to Halo they are right.I can't believe they're arguing about realism in a video game at all. if I wanted reality I wouldn't escape into games.
Not me in general, but it is funny when people call CoD games are suppose to be realistic.

Halo was a joke by comparison, a cartoony, arcade-y game at best. Apples and Oranges.
As for the MP 40, seriously? You don't think sniper shots across Seelow with a submachine gun was out of the ordinary?

After I had my STG I seldom ever picked up a MP40.
I never touched an MP40 after 2cnd prestige. It felt cheap to use. The Gewehr was my weapon of choice, with STG for back up when my finger got tired.
The STG was a lazer. I loved it. My beef with W@W, was that I like using different guns but when when the MP 40, was so over powered, if forced you to use just that and made the game repetitive and boring.
So far there is no clear winner in guns in MW2 and looks like IW spent sometime with balance of the guns. I know somebody will mention the models but at least there still is a range aspects with them, and a AR, or a sniper with claymores is a good counter with them.

I was at 23 kills the other day. Had a guy dead to rights but very little ammo, I empty my remaining 5 ACR rounds into him and he... survives. I go for a desperation knife, but it doesn't work. Bah. I guess I just wasn't the scavenging the dead quickly enough. Very frustrating.
Did you set up you kill streaks properly??
Harrier, Chopper Gunner, Nuke. Just couldn't quite get over the hump. I'd rather go Pave Low than Chopper Gunner probably, but I don't know if they fixed the glitch where it randomly doesn't add to your kill streak. I think if I ever get the stupid nuke win I'll switch it to Pave Low. I think the nuke is something I'll only care about doing once. After that the Pave Low and Chopper Gunner in the air simultaneously will probably be the most fun for racking up kills. I've got half a mind to swap out harrier for something else... I don't know. I assume the precision airstrike is a better airstrike than the harrier, and I would think that the attack heli would be better than the harrier if you discount the airstrike portion of the harrier, but I haven't really played with it much. I know whenever the enemy puts a harrier or attack heli up it goes down in about 2 seconds to my cold-blooded/stinger combo.

Precision Airstrike sucks. You have to know your target's exact location to have a chance in hell of killing anyone. I rarely get more than one kill. But-I run predator/precision/harrier just so I can nail the guys that come out of cover after the precision strike. They usually figure it's over and safe to walk the streets again...suckers.
