Would Vampires make DS9 better?

I can see how vampires might have made DS9 better.

I certainly would rather have seen some Empok Nor-style vampire episodes rather any of the bad episodes of DS9, of which there are many.

TOS had plenty of great episoded featuring terrifying creatures. DS9 could likewise have benefitted from that concept, including with vampires.

Not Twilight-esque vampires though, I'm talkin' real vampires.

It depends, will they all be played by Christopher Lee? If so then I could probably cope because it would be heller funny. Especially if he had a light saber as well.

Anyways, I'm used to seeing vampires after DS9 because it used to be a DS9/Buffy back-to-back on BBC2.

The vampire equivalent in Star Trek = the Borg.

So we already have ready to use vampires. The question is how to use them in a way that doesn't also destroy them.

I thought Borg were the zombies. :borg:

They are an unstoppable force that has no individuality, and they aren't sexy enough to be vampires. (And before anyone says that vampires weren't always sexy, yes they were. They were always a sexual metaphor. Moon, blood, etc. Even original folk legends contains stuff like vampires having sex with their widows and conceiving vampire babies.)
