and Greer was great in this eppy.....love him
No sequel next week? And Earth Pt 2? Blah. I reserve the right to change my mind.
^ We don't need a part 2. The ending was brilliant. The solution was found and we know that everything will be alright.
So, basically, all the character building and growth we just had in this episode was all reset and washed away. I absolutely hate that. I hate resets. Blah

Exactly. We don't need a whole episde of them going to a planet, grabbing one of those things, bringing it back, sucking out the venom and making an innoculation.

That's my fear too. But I'm not sure that'll happen this time, because they've all SEEN what happened. They'll remember it. They watched it in real time, and experienced it vicariously.
So they may get to keep their characters' growth. We'll have to wait and see.
I agree. And in that case, it's a better episode for it. I wouldn't change the rating, but I hold it in higher regard.^ We don't need a part 2. The ending was brilliant. The solution was found and we know that everything will be alright.

It doesn't look like causality and other uber-geeky time travel stuff matters in SG:U. Items that travel back still exist even if the events that sent them never happened.Hmm the 'real' timeline people (ie the third try, timeline #3) may only have found Scott's kino - the first one with all the footage on was never sent back the 'second' time. So it depends on whether the paradox that is created allows the original kino to be on the planet in timeline #3 even though it wasn't sent back during timeline #2.

The only thing they have to worry about is watching the right damn kino first.
That thought occured to me for a split second when I saw one get shot, then I forgot about it.I can't believe I've read through this entire thread and seen nary a mention of how the snakes on the jungle planet weren't just any old snakes...
They were symbiotes!
Are we sure Chloe has a heart?I'm not convinced they were symbiotes. They burrowed into Chloe's chest, but then killed her and jumped out her back. My guess is, it ate her heart and left to find more.
