To this end, I apologize, since I was the one who started us off-topic. It's just that certain viewpoints...really do baffle me.

 

I may not completely agree with everything you said here but I wanted to say thank you for pointing out the fact that Trekkies are bickering over which version of being friendly in the Galaxy they like better.

Sure there are things that I dislike about Voyager, they are also this things I dislike about DS9, TNG, TOS, and ENT but to me they are all Star Trek. I am a Trekkie, no matter what I will always take the good with the bad.

Plus if Star Trek was completely perfect what would there be to discussing on the boards?

You asked what we'd discuss on the boards if Trek was perfect: Well, we'd just be discussing how our perfect shows are better than other sci-fi.
