I'm anxious to see all the deleted scenes; hopefully they will be finished product, not raw footage. Unless the "raw" is Zoe...

Not sure where it's coming from, but the international box office jumped up another $0.5 million since I last checked on Saturday.
Domestic: $257,710,778
International: $127,053,753
Global: $384,764,531
Looks like $385 million is possible sometime soon. Star Trek will settle in at #118 on the All-Time Worldwide Box Office list, behind "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" ($390.5 million).
In other news, HP6 passed $300 million yesterday, becoming only the second Potter film to do so.

Hm, Box Office Mojo lists Star Trek's international take as $126,723,993, as of the 28th (Monday). I wonder which one is correct.
$5,345 for Tuesday September 29th. That's down 20% from Monday and 27% from last Tuesday. Per screen average was $60.

I guess $258 million isn't going to happen...but it's gonna come DAMN close.
That's a good rule of thumb to use here. On Sept 28 both sites had the exact same number, then the uip site updated theirs later so it should be the more up-to-date number.
Its run might be over.
But then why would it still be playing at my local IMAX through the weekend?
They are not going to yank it out of theaters. But they may stop tracking the boxoffice on a daily basis. Paramount stopped the daily tracking for Iron Man after 22 weeks but the movie still made another 100K after that.
Interesting... the only interesting thing to me would be how close it eventually got to 258. Otherwise, fare thee well... hell of a run.
That might be it for the daily box office reports, but the list of weekend totals is usually pretty extensive, so we might get some news on a weekly basis now (until the film does officially close, that is).
As for the box office in general, it looks like Zombieland is set to dominate this weekend, pulling in an estimated $9.4 million on Friday, which is a pretty good start I'd say.

So it looks like we'll end at about $258 mil domestic and about $385 mil total.
Not a great showing overseas....too bad about that bit as they missed a great movie.
But a very good showing domestically...which is fine with me.
