The Fringe team travels to Pennsylvania to investigate an underground tunnel full of human remains. Meanwhile, Walter experiments using frogs to travel between realities.

^ There's one of those photos where Peter is hogging the spotlight from Olivia. :klingon:

Anyway, can't wait for tonight's episode! Intriguing title too.

It's a credit to John Noble's acting ability that I love Walter. Denethor was not likable at all.

Looking forward to this as well. Watching 'FlashForward' right now, which is pretty good.

A cornfield... How X-Files!

Re: Fringe: "Night of the Desirable Objects" 9/24 - Grading & Discussi

Yes, this ep is definitely feeling a LOT like X-F already, with a Monster-of-the-Week.

I hope that they continue to examine the question of where Olivia went and how she got back while they chase critters in the cornfield.

Are they fishing in reverse?

Ignores Procutus presence...

Where is the Agent from last week?

This season is definitely slower than the end of last year. Maybe it's just because I'm used to the DVD pacing.

Re: Fringe: "Night of the Desirable Objects" 9/24 - Grading & Discussi

I got the Blu-Ray set two weeks ago. It's pretty awesome. The picture and sound are both top notch and there are tons of extras.

They need to get Mr. Hughes on that machine of Walter's before he's six hours dead.

Weak. I'm ready for them to get the ball rolling on Charlie and William Bell.

Re: Fringe: "Night of the Desirable Objects" 9/24 - Grading & Discussi

Now I know who'd win in a fight between Scorpion Mole Boy vs. Charles Martin Smith.

X-Files without the dreary Mark Snow music and the scarecrow reminded me of the Jeepers Creepers 2 opening.

The new FBI girl of vague ethnicity wasn't used much.

Kevin Corrigan...there aren't enough creepy guys on the show, let's add another.

Re: Fringe: "Night of the Desirable Objects" 9/24 - Grading & Discussi

This episode reminded me of The X-Files episode "Home." Thing is, "Home" is so good that this looks inferior and average. I did like the Olivia plot, though.

Re: Fringe: "Night of the Desirable Objects" 9/24 - Grading & Discussi

FBI: Special Investigation Unit was rather lackluster tonight. I'm worried about the new season making "Fringe Division" seem so small, it seemed better when it was inside what seemed to be a larger unit. Even Massive Dynamic seems to be reduced to Blair Brown wandering around. It's starting to feel like Torchwood now. I hope this is just the season getting off to a shaky start.
