Would you know what to do if the zombies attacked?

Well, Romero's Survival of the Dead is in the can, so I'd say we'll be getting slow-moving zombies fairly soon. Unless you meant the Simon Garth variety.

As for the comment upthread about "zombie rights," that's supposedly one of the themes it'll touch on.
Provided the distributor doesn't pull out in the 11th hour on this one as well.

If I could figure out a way to get supplies, I think the International Space Station would be a good safehouse.

Max Brooks' World War Z covers this : Their
bones and musculature suffered severe atrophy and ended up shortening their lives.

A small island that is at least a few miles from shore. Small enough to kill and remove any current zombies but big enough to have some farming (maybe som livestock) and be able to sustain survival.

Apparently, the new favorite approach is to use a time machine to obtain a dinosaur you can use for zombie stomping.

Yeah, I meant Simon Garth/Voodoo-type Zombies, but it's great that Romero has completed another installment. :bolian:

Easy, convert a nuclear powered aircraft carrier into a floating community. Ditch all the planes, keep some of the helicopters. Convert the majority of the top deck to a field for growing whatever crops you deem necessary (i.e. build a metre or so high metal 'wall' around the deck perimeter to keep soil in), and the internal hanger bay into a livestock pen, occasionally bringing up the different animals up to the top deck every once in a while for sunlight and the like. Stock as many medicines and the like possible, using the choppers manned by scavenger teams to go back to land to forage for special supplies, growing what you can on the ship. Park the ship a few miles off the coast, in deep water. Sorted.

They mentioned that this was one of the things done in I Am Legend to try to protect the survivors (yes I realize they were supposed to be vampires but they met zombie qualifications). Didn't work so well there.

I'd head for Tatton Park and fortify it. Worked for Christopher Eccleston, and i used to work there so i know the layout. Only problem is i now live the otherside of the UK to it so may be difficult getting there.

Either that or ask Bruce Campbell if i can go and live with him.

Yes. I'd hang around people much larger than I am. And then run away just before the zombies got to us.

Ah, the Friends as Cannon Fodder Plan. I like the way you think, sir. I'll keep my distance during the apocalypse, but admire you nonetheless.
