Are Ocampa a spiritual civilization?

While unfortunately, we don't know much about Ocampa culture, as the one member we know well is not a traditional one (but what we do know sounds pretty nice), some person I know said he thinks the Ocampa is a deeply spiritual civilization (and Kes is too, despite rejecting the normal Ocampan way of life). Do you think that is the case? From all Star Trek civilizations, I think only Bajorans and Klingons are confirm to be spiritual, well, and Dominion, in a way (Cardassians were once, but not anymore and Vulcans are… a particular example, as they don;t seem to believe in any deities but they often act just like religious people, very religious people too, they seem even more devoted than Klingons and Bajorans sometimes).

Depends upon your definition of 'spiritual', I think.

They have an aptitude for psychic powers, but to me, that's not quite the same as being spiritual.

Other than that, it's hard to say. The Ocampa we see depend upon their Caretaker (the Ocampa one vs. Suspiria) but does that make them 'spiritual'?

That they have a religion (organized or not) and it plays an important role in their lives (for the majority).

Alternatively (defition from Galactic Civilziaitons game series), they take greater consideration on ethical choices.

Can't really recall any direct 'canon' indication in that direction. (Though for example Kes is 'ethical' when it comes to the EMH whereas others only see him as a tool at first.)

It didn't seem that difficult for Kes to adapt to Voyager's secular culture, but she might have just marched to her own drummer.
