-From VOY, seeing Voyager crashing into the ice planet in "Timeless." I wasn't a fan of the CGI used on the show, but that scene was fantastic (the shot where we see the ship buried beneath the ice was cool too).
I totally concur. One thing I liked able ST11 is that it was directed.T
I've never really thought of Star Trek, even the theatrical productions, even the good theatrical productions, as having a particular strength in mise-en-scene, however. This is not to say they never succeed--they're usually quite competent, just not so awesome as to impress upon you, "the director did a great job here."
This is unfortunately true, but it's one of the areas in which the newest Star Trek film improves upon its originating material.
This is simply a stunning shot:

No one does space porn like Trek! (and I mean that in a good way)TMP - the pan under the E just as it goes to warp. It's the same shot they used in the first TUC teaser that they super-ed the images all over.
i like that one. actually, i love the entire sequence revealing the enterprise. its like the camera is making love to the ship.
This is one of TNG's better moments. It's not a flashy shot, but I always liked the end of "Family," when young Rene Picard is sitting under a tree looking up at the stars, "dreaming about starships and adventures..." And then we see a shooting star streak across the sky...or is it the Enterprise, off on its next mission? ~_-
The whole funeral scene is still classic Trek, but that shot as "Amazing Grace" plays is beautifully sad.The iconic one from TWOK, when Spock's casket makes orbit above Genesis.

Let me add, the haunting tune as Picard plays at the end of "Inner Light".
This is simply a stunning shot:
