Yes. You can. It really is a riff on Trekker's "10 Ways [He] Judges You" thread. There's no other reason to format a post that way. And the term isn't overused if it's applicable.

The hypocrisy comes from insisting individuals don't behave in a manner he often does himself.

He posts frequent rants? He takes a single shtick and pounds it into the ground? Since when?

Ultimately, if I really had a problem with Trekker or anyone else I could just not read their threads. That's not the case with Locutus. You can't put a mod on ignore and it's very often not possible to see whether that a mod is posting his own opinion or what he's been told to in the BR.

So you're just angry that's he's got power. Got it.

In this case, I can't believe he was told to post anything like what he did.

I'm sure he wasn't. Nevertheless, folks get jobs as mods because there good at calling a spade a spade and being fair about it.

Yes, he does have single shtick - telling other posters how to post, telling them to "get a blog" when the content of their post doesn't fit with his sensibilities.

He's got every right to disagree with Trekker, me or anyone else, of course, but when the posts don't break board rules he has no right to tell the poster that they shouldn't be posting their views at all. Trekker's views may not be shared by all, but he has the right to discuss them.

Locutus nor anyone else is injured by Trekker's threads, or mine or anyone else's. He chose to read them when he became a mod.

He apologized for the offense due to the (perceived) criticism of Trekker's job, and I'm not seeing what's wrong with an image macro except that you don't like it. I'm still not finding much substance in your complaint.

What a lot of people here are missing is that Trekker is one side of an old dynamic duo that he once formed with Arianwenn. It was hilarious to see them bitch and moan about many things. Unfortunately she left the board but I still enjoy Trekker's rants. But I take them with an iceberg-sized grain of salt.
