attention girls: embrace your inner...

Boys are allowed in the thread, but beware, we sometimes talk about TMI girly stuff. :p

Trust me, nothing is TMI for me. :D

Boys allowed :)

In fact you can do the shopping talk for me!

Good! I haven't got much to show though, even though I went shopping today. I was looking for some new flipflops (since my old ones seem to have disappeared -- they'll turn up tomorrow, probably), unfortunately, most stores seem to be out as they've just got the autumn collection. So, after walking for 6 hours I bought the first pair I saw in desperation:

(mine are a lot darker, though -- more a dark coffee brown)

Yeah, I know. Horrible. Please point and laugh. :D

But, at least this buys me time to go shopping again, later this week. I'll probably go to Amsterdam, or something. They've got to still have some nice ones somewhere, right?

I've also bought a few new shirts like these:

And I've bought a new night gown for my girl, but I don't have a picture of that. It's pretty though; parts of it are half transparent and parts of it are silk with a few little lace details. She loved it. I actually wanted her to come along, but then I decided against it: she hates shopping for some completely unfathomable reason, so she always gets impatient after an hour or so. Fortunately, that gave me the opportunity to go shopping with some female friends, which was fun. :D

Have y'all bought anything lately?

My idea of shopping for clothes is the Lands' End website and a credit card.
That's about my speed, actually. I like Coldwater Creek's website, too.

A quick look round a bookstore and I'm done, shopping wise.
Make it a long look and some buying, and I'm with you. I love books.

I went to my first Lia Sophia party a couple weeks ago and bought some new earrings. :)

I could go for a long look. Especially if there was a sit-down for a cup of tea afterwards.

Thanks for the recommendation for Coldwater Creek - I sometimes get their catalogue through the door and the clothes do look nice.

My favorite stores are bookstores and craft stores (especially beading or cross stitch). But I do like to browse in clothing stores. I love purses more than any other accessory. :D And cosmetic shops are fun. I'm going to hit Ulta tomorrow...

book stores, unusual clothing stores and especially yard sales and estate sales is where i like to shop.

book stores, love them.. can spend a long time in there.. also liking shoe stores (although that's new!) and some clothes stores. I hate it when all they have is tiny clothes. I am not superbig, but I still have "problemareas" that does not look awesome in skinhugging clothes..

I like them both. :techman:

My mom is the shoe store queen. I like shoes, but not as much as purses. I have more purses than clothes, I think!

^ I don't think it's a bad thing really. But no tighty whiteys...ever? Women like to see a hammock once in awhile.

^ Meeee tooo! I like men both in and out of the boxers. But I do enjoy some form fitting drawers as well....at least on an occassion or two.... I like to see what you're workin with.

I have gotten sick and tired of over-elasticated label underwear, and have finally resorted to Marks and Sparks granny undies, just to be comfortable for once. I am ashamed of myself. :(
No one does comfort like they do. :D

Most of my boxers (perhaps you call them by a different name) are of the tight, low-cut variety...
Like this one: (except with classier prints :p)

And at least according to my girlfriend, "the package" is quite visible. So no worries there. :D

^ Yeah...those are the ones. I like those underhosen!

In case there is a lack of a package you can always do what the guys in Spinal Tap did...

I can only guess... Unfortunately, it's more a case of too much package then too little, so I am limited in what I can do. :p

Sometimes, loose boxers are a blessing.

Okay, back to more mundane topics...

Who on earth thought it was a good idea to put thick lotion in a non-squeezable bottle? :wtf:

I've just got a new bottle of calendula lotion for young master trampledamage and it's in a hard plastic bottle, either I can't get any or I get too much! And all the time I'm fighting to get the bloody stuff out of the bottle, he's off and running somewhere else.

As if my day wasn't going badly enough as it was... :scream:
