Zoe Saldana is *fine*, but please-

Her body weight seems okay. At least I never noticed her to be dangerously thin.

What she needs to work on instead is improving from her dreadful, wooden acting.

Tell the girl an extra trip once a week to McDonald's for a fillet-O-fish & fries wouldn't hurt her. A few extra calories would send her to the next level of goddess IMO.:techman:

Sorry..but in just one TREK movie she has shown she is the better uhura, and the better actress. IMO..

Does anyone else get tired of " ...but she needs to eat a sandwich" threads, or is it just me?
Are you avoiding a Subway visit, M? It's okay to eat, you know.
I mean, yeah, some people do keep some pretty unhealthy eating habits for the sake of appearance, particularly in showbiz, but it's also true that some people are just naturally thin.
Check out Jessica Alba in the first few eps of Dark Angel season two- she admitted that she wasn't prepared to look like a "woman" so she "went skinny." That's not cool. Neither is binging & purging or overdoing the intake thing.
Healthy LOOKS good. That's why "breeders" are attracted to such.
*crap*
Where's my meal??? I NEED PROTEIN!!!!

Yes. It's as annoying - and offensive - as if people kept opening threads declaring that so-and-so is too fat, or should have a boob job, or whatever.

People have a right to look the way they look.

Oh, and "this-that-or-the-other is endangering her health/setting a bad example" is self-satisfied bullshit. There probably aren't ten people on this bulletin board whose lives or lifestyles would hold up to public scrutiny in terms of their health or eating habits and those who protest that they're healthiest are probably the ones in denial. Push away from the computer desk and take a walk.

I'm tempted to say something that might get me a warning but i'll resist the temptation....

Wow. Not the reaction I expected at all. I started by saying she was *fine*...
Remind me next time someone says that Chris pine would look even better with longer hair or something to start defending his right to look how he looks :guffaw:

:drool:Aww, that's not fair! Now I GOTTA know! Please?:)

Ahem...."she's not skinny at all"? Are you kidding with that?

Nope, Zaldana looks perfect in shape to me.

I understand you're young so that's a big part of it....you don't really know what you want or what's really important.

:guffaw:

The ability to know what you really want or to judge what's important in life has nothing to do with physical age, but more with the life experiences you've had and how much you've learned from them. In my case, I know exactly what I want, and I know what's important for me in my life.

Besides, to call someone in the mid/late 20's "young" is practically saying "I'm way in my 40's". I thought women didn't want people to know their age? :D

I'm doing laundry....and NOT on the gentle cycle.

I wasn't talking about you.

Yup that's a 20 something talking for ya! I was 20 something too ...so I know, like I said you THINK you know what you want, you really do....all I can say is (most likely) you'll see what I'm talking about one day. Mid 20's is young...espeically to an old bag like me. I'm proud of my age -- I don't hide it I don't fight it...I've earned my age of 37. And besides I don't look it.... I still get proofed for cigarettes.

And I don't care if you weren't talking about me!! I was talking about me....someone has to! LOL

37- :guffaw:3 years older than first season Kirk???
Listen little girl, you & the boy here are just two different levels of "kid" to me!;)

I'm up there in age with Valerie Bertinelli & Tom Cruise!;)

Exactly. Everybody's constantly learning in life, and readjusting their own personal values. And they are important at any stage in life; all anybody knows is what's important right now, not what's important 10 years in the future. For Cakes suggest otherwise would imply that you won't know what you want until you're dead. Quite a sobering implication, that. :D

Not quite the same thing, but here.

Too fat, too skinny. So where exactly does that four ounce window of perfection reside. As for me, until my adonis like physique blossoms, I think I'll pass on judging others and just go grab a burger.

Don't you think that a 31 year-old woman is too old to be called a girl?
