Apparently, the patterns on them are made up of little Starfleet deltas.
I think I'm the first person to notice that.
If you mean the first person to notice that in the last couple of hours, then you may be. No guarantees though

I did look out for her at the ceremony at the end, but couldn't see her. But as more ammunition to my personal belief that she's on the Enterprise (or at least def. not on the Farragut) is that she doesn't look surprised or bothered that Uhura walks off in another direction to her after the assignments are called, which (to me) means she's not expecting to be walking with Uhura to the shuttle. So she's not been assigned the same ship, so not the Farragut.
So, are we absolutely certain that none of the other ships managed to get some shuttles or rescue pods off when they were attacked at Woolkun?
I mean, the Kelvin managed to pop off several when it was destroyed. Granted, George Kirk fought Nero off to save them, but I'm still holding out hope.![]()
The uniforms in the new movie were AWESOME. Totally exceeded my expectations. An Oscar is in order- except, sci-fi movies don't usually get them. GRRRRR.
You don't watch the Oscars much, I take it?Is there actually such a thing as an Oscar for costume design?
Did you know that the pattern on them is made up of little Starfleet deltas? It's true. The uniforms in the new movie were AWESOME. Totally exceeded my expectations. An Oscar is in order- except, sci-fi movies don't usually get them. GRRRRR.
Shirley not!Did you know that the pattern on them is made up of little Starfleet deltas? It's true.
It was definitely cool, Shelly, er, whatever. What I mean to say is that, cleverly, they somehow managed to incorporate the Starfleet delta symbol right into the fabric of the uniform, creating a faint yet recogniseable (sp?) pattern.
I was going to mention this. They're right in the fabric of the uniform!Just be careful that the mini Starfleet deltas don't get worn off. Did anyone else notice those?
Anybody hazard to guess just what the care labels for the new uniforms might say? Someone earlier suggested: "Wash in warm water with like colors. Tumble dry on medium heat." I'm afraid I'm gonna have to call bullshit on that one!! I'll wager they're "Dryclean only". Thoughts?
Ok, good. Starfleet deltas--right in the material...It was definitely cool, Shelly, er, whatever. What I mean to say is that, cleverly, they somehow managed to incorporate the Starfleet delta symbol right into the fabric of the uniform, creating a faint yet recogniseable (sp?) pattern.![]()
This is just to give us something to do, isn't it?Have you ever seen the like?
You want something to do? Find a high-res still from the movie and take a look at one of the uniform shirts. There are tons of little Starfleet deltas sewn right into the fabric! This is just to give us something to do, isn't it?Have you ever seen the like?
Hey guys, did you know there are tons of Starfleet deltas sewn into the fabric?
