The problem is I go to a family reunion on Thursday and then I fly straight to Japan for six months. Then you can easily save the other 2 up and watch asap.Like that has ever stopped me before? It's not on in the US till later this month...![]()
on now I am around *cough*nerds*cough* I can go a bit more depth. So far so good, a couple of jarring moments, Jack suddenly has a daughter & grandchild out of no where, that was strange a couple of actors (Iantos sister, and the new girl at the Home Office) reminded me of other Doctor Who characters, maybe they are , I dont know yet.
So far plenty of nice seeds being sowed, and despite his appearing on the Casualty set, I was surprised by the fact the Doctor was more than he seemed. Still plenty more to look forward to. Torchwood seems to finally be hitting the excellence that previous series have missed.
Astounding work. Could be... a show moving to BBC1 and NOT getting worse? This format could yet be the salvation of Torchwood.
All the highlights involved Ianto so no change there from last year. I wonder if the stolen car point will become very relevant later in the week? Seeing their families was very interesting, but Jack's daughter called it right when she told Jack how bad it was that he only came round to see Steven due to the alien threat.
I've stayed completely unspoiled on the whole mini-series, so everything was a shock to me. I really thought Rupesh was going to be the new doctor come Friday evening!
And, as a Welshman, I did chuckle a lot at the Severn Bridge lines. That is EXACTLY how people talk about it around here!
Rating this is going to be very difficult - we should have had one thread for the whole thing I think.

Iantos sister reminded me of the woman in Parters in Crime who had the Adipose, and Lois reminded me of the journalist who was looking into Adipose Industry's again in Partners in Crime.
cant wait to see how Jack survives being blown up by a bomb, but ive seen too much so I supsect I already know, I just hope it doesn't take him out of action for too long

yes but none of those things were physical, in theory Jacks body should be split in to two large parts and few hundred smaller ones.on now I am around *cough*nerds*cough* I can go a bit more depth. So far so good, a couple of jarring moments, Jack suddenly has a daughter & grandchild out of no where, that was strange a couple of actors (Iantos sister, and the new girl at the Home Office) reminded me of other Doctor Who characters, maybe they are , I dont know yet.

He's survived stepp radiation at the end of the universe and clinging to the outside of a TARDIS as it flew through the time vortex...one little bomb isn't going to stop Captain Scarlet...er I mean Jack!

I always thought there should at some point be a spin-off sequel series to Torchwood, set in its Glasgow branch - appropriately enough the show could be called "Torchwood Two".So it all started in Scotland, huh?
Anyone else think we could get a glimpse of the Scottish branch of Torchwood?![]()
as ive said before, looking at the age of the kids involved I think Clyde & Rani are too old to be effected, they are teenagers not children.^
"Mum, why have Clyde and Rani stopped moving."
"It's probably nothing!"
