I used to be a huge fan back when I was a little kid, I mean I loved the guy. Later on I couldn't be a fan anymore but now I feel really sad about this. Hopefully he finds the peace that he always seemed to be lacking in life.

MTV Jams was playing Music Videos from MJ. It actually reminded me of when I would watch MTV on a regular basis back in the day. Man did it take me back. 
Just like Diana, his life was extinguished quickly and suddenly - that makes it all the more shocking. I'd expect the public mourning might be even greater than Diana's given the longevity of his fame and his universal appeal at his height.He can be young forever now. The bigger the icon, the earlier they go it seems. I wonder if we'll get the sort of mass mourning on the streets we saw happening with Princess Diana. His fans might be even more passionate...
From someone who listened to and loved his music as a child, this is sad, sad news.

So is the west coast going to get a delay as well for this because I just checked and it's futurama.

Well having seen their rather large temperature controlled video vault I can assure they still have loads of music videos. They still have other MTV station that play videos.
I don't know if I'll be able to dance for a long time after all of this. Can't bring myself to watch his videos right now. Hard enough listening without dancing.
The BBC is doing amazing coverage right now, while CNN busies itself with defining, dictionary style, what the words coma and cardiac arrest mean - I've never seen such patronising reporting in my life.
