Michael Madsen ,R.I.P.

Sorry to learn of his loss passing. He wasn’t the most versatile actor in the world (though was as adept as a rough and ready good guy as he was as a villain) but he had undoubted presence and menace. His Reservoir Dogs role is of course iconic. I wonder how his career would have gone if he’d played Vincent in Pulp Fiction (as was the original intention) instead of dropping out to do Wyatt Earp?

The obituary is credited to a Catherine Shoard, but holy cow did The Guardian blow it, I assume with their use of AI to write it. They had the wrong year for Reservoir Dogs, then claimed that Madsen reunited with Tarantino 11 years later for Pulp Fiction, which was two years later and Madsen wasn't even in. The obit has since been corrected.
