The disappearing mole

I don't know why he didn't have it removed earlier; but if it was money, he's got enough now to do it.

I also noticed that Chris Pine has a little Edward James Olmost face going on. Its not nearly as bad as EJO but he has that pitting on his neck a little...
I wonder what thats from and if it gets worse with age?

I'm getting these things on my forehead that look like mini ant hills or suction cups. I guess its an age thing (2 months from the big 5-0) or some mutation. :(

Oh, those are gray-alien warts. They've got something in their skin that makes warts when they touch you during abductions. So, not moles or acne. :)

We really need the DVDs so we can make some screencap comparisons.

That said, I think it's awesome that we have a perfect-skin-challenged lead in a movie these days. It says a lot about society and how we're getting beyond trivial things like acne scarring and seeing Chris Pine's inner beauty on the outside.

Oh, come. Charisma is charisma and it can overcome a lot of things and always has. Look at photos of Robert Redford when he was young: definitely not a perfect complexion there, but it didn't matter.

I agree about the charisma angle. Presence and talent have always outweighed mere superficial beauty. Clark Gable had some pronounced facial cratering, but was considered a very attractive leading man in spite of this. Likewise, Sir Richard Burton had a whole face full of severe acne scars, yet was nonetheless considered very attractive.

A topic about a moving and/or disappearing mole, and nobody's mentioned "Robin Hood: Men in Tights" yet? :wtf:

Okay, it's tough to find a picture from the right side. This one isn't so heavily photoshopped. Vanity fair. No mole.

I need a fan photo, with no photoshopping, though. Still looking

We have now officially run out of topics.

No offense. ;)
Agreed.
No, this is important! :) There are at least two threads at the IMDb on the topic. Probably more.
Important?

:guffaw:

Somebody close down the internet. We used it up.
Wow, just wow!! Pine is cute as hell, but I never thought to even look for a mole... I was too busy enjoying a great movie... silly me.:cardie:

I think JJ and gang used alot of fliped images in the movie? This might account for the "now you see it, now you dont" mole?

Tin Man, I think you are right. It has to be a flipped or mirrored image.

I found a photo taken in April 2009 that shows the mole on Pine.
from the Shatner Charity

By the way, I think Chris Pine is gorgeous, with or without a mole, with or without facial pits. I only started this thread because the mole disappeared in the movie.

[[Pike looks at Kirk and sees the mole]]

"Mr. Kirk, have you been in a fight?"
"No, sir, It is The Gortch!"
