I think you're right too. I think they mentioned flipping/mirroring shots somewhere, just can't remember where I read it.

I just saw the movie and noticed the mole too!!!

It's very distracting and it DEFINITELY disappeared during the scene where Kirk and Spock confront Nero.

And then it appears again at the end!


The makeup department screwed up there.


Well as long as it won't be in the sequels, it WAS really distracting.

I do not mind Chris's mole. That and his rough skin keep him from being a pretty boy type.

I bet it sucks when he shaves, though, if it's still there. A good reason to remove it.
