I used to have a Pioneer DVD player that didn't do upscaling and didn't have a USB port. Otherwise it was a great player that we still use.
Now I've got a 1080p upscaling with a USB slot by Philips. I'm also very happy with it, though I do prefer the interface and the remote of the Pioneer.
