at nearly 60% off all in.

It was time for my annual book extravaganza!

Once per year, a massive book stock sale descends on my city where you can buy books for ridiculously low prices.
This year I bought:

National Geographic Traveler: Greece
National Geographic Traveler: Barcelona
National Geographic Traveler: New York
The Art of the Lord of the Rings
Dragons of Faerun (Dungeons & Dragons)
Magic of Incarnum (Dungeons & Dragons)
a big Sudoku book as a gift for a colleague
and Culinaria Griekenland, a Greek cookbook :)

All that, for less than €50 :)

The new albums by Green Day and Manic Street Preachers...

reminds me

I just got Crystal Method's new album "Divided By Night"

Also a recent purchase was Newsboys new album "In The Hands of God"

Also recently got Prodigy's "Invaders Must Die"

And also got Depche Mode's ""Sounds of the Universe"

I got the Star Trek movie novelization on Thursday. Today I went to Target and bought some inexpensive t-shirts for dance class. Then I went to Ross and bought a bunch of inexpensive cute tops for dance class. I'm all set up now.

:D

Went back to the warehouse sale today - scored two hockey sticks worth $125 each for $23 each, and got the kids t-shirts for $5 each.

The boys' shirts say "property of hockey" and my daughter's shirt says "You skate like a boy".

I'm now typing on my brand new 17 inch MacBook Pro. I've officially moved over to the dark side. :)

I got a new DVD player that plays pretty much any format and supports R and RW, both + and -.
DVD upscaling to 1080p, HDMI, Coaxial plug for the 5.1, Multi Region, and it also has a SD/MMC slot and a USB slot, so you can play movies directly from your minicards or Flash Key.

I am rather happy with it, yes. :D

^ Which company did you get if you don't mind me asking?

I used to have a Pioneer DVD player that didn't do upscaling and didn't have a USB port. Otherwise it was a great player that we still use.

Now I've got a 1080p upscaling with a USB slot by Philips. I'm also very happy with it, though I do prefer the interface and the remote of the Pioneer. ;)
