I'd been looking for the 2-disc version of the new Pet Shop Boys album for a month or so, and my local HMV finally got it in last week. So I picked it up along with the new Depeche Mode album, Boston Legal S5 and Caprica.

Then today I picked up a book that's been getting good reviews - it's a retelling of Jane Austen's Pride And Prejudice, called Pride And Prejudice And Zombies.

A Latte, I'm not sat in Nero in Picadilly gardens in the sun with my netbook before work. :)

My latest actual spend was on some bottles of Coke. The last arrival of things I've spent funds on were books by David Mack, Greg Cox and Christopher L Bennett. Also - Boston Legal season 5:)

Babylon 5 season 3 DVDs. I can't Netflix them fast enough for the rate that I'm watching them.

I watched S1 and 2 on Hulu, so the larger TV screen, lack of commercials and the DVD extras are going to be pretty sweet. :bolian:

My DS9 S5 arrived, yay!

Together with a The Flaming Lips album, I don't even remember the name, heh... but it's being ripped right now!

i have just paid for a Big Fish Game called "Virtual Families". After playing it for the free hour I liked it enough to buy it. As I am a member of the Big Fish game club it cost me only $6.95 to buy. The game is similar ro the Sims.

Picked up cute gardening gloves and a matching hat:

And my cool new beading toy:

It puts beads on the needle as it spins. Saves me a lot of time!

My last purchase was a Sausage, Egg and Cheese McGriddle! Here is a cool website though for shopping. There are even free items!

A new refridgerator.
a new set of tires. Don't you hate spending money on things that aren't fun?

Both of those could at least potentially be fun. I just had to pay the 6-monthly service charge on two properties yesterday. No WAY that's ever fun. 4-figure total.

Mind you, I also just got an unexpected bonus from the tax man today - an extra refund cheque arrived in the mail. I have no idea what it's for; I can't remember expecting another one but I guess my accountant must have claimed for something else in the meantime.

The good thing is that coincidentally enough the refund almost exactly matches the total of the service charges.

What the Good Lord giveth, he also taketh away. And vice versa, it seems!

This is really intriguing... how does it work?
