Is Chloe pregnant? That's what I thought when she was holding her stomach.

You know it's funny, I've been thinking about that very same thing for weeks, ever since she willingly allowed herself to become Davis' love-slave (or whatever). Could she have a little Doomsday in the oven? Is that how they'll bring him back next season?

Personally, I'd rather see them move on with new villains (someone mentioned Darkseid) but it looks like the return of Zod is coming up.

Yeah, that was completely stupid. Clark is in love with the idea of himself dying.

And, Brent, there have indeed been better fights on Smallville. Remember when Clark fought Titan, played by Kane of the WWE? That was a bitching fight.

Shit. Remember when Clark fought bug-boy in like the second episode ever?

That fight was down-right epic compared to this.

Agreed. This was as lame as he fight with Batista in the ep where Manhunter first drops an Oreo on the scene.

Speaking of which, I really missed seeing old John Jones this eveing. It's a shame they couldn't get Phil Morris for this one.

I'm outta here guys. This season has been fun, mostly. Since the Chlovage survived, I'll be back for Season 9.

Trekker, I'll see you Monday night for Bad-Ass Bauer.

While I admit the Clark/Doomsday fight could have been longer, I thought tonight's episode was great!

Jimmy being killed was a surprise. Followed by the fact that he wasn't the Jimmy we know from the comics. At his funeral, when the priest called him "Henry James Olsen", I instantly knew what they were doing. Two minutes later, when we see the little kid, my suspicion was confirmed. I was laughing so hard. Was it a cheat and a huge retcon? Oh yeah. But, somehow, it worked for me.

I actually kinda liked Davis' death. Rather, I liked the twist that his human side was really that messed up (probably more so with the monster's effect on him).

Honestly, though, I wish they killed off Chloe. I am really getting tired of her and her character, which I loved for the first few years, has grown worthless on the show, I think. Tonight would have been a perfect way to have her exit the series.

The cliffhangers were lame. Once again, Clark needs to run away from being Clark? How come just now Clark is realizing that people are bad? He's had 8 years of experience with bad, evil people. His rationalization makes absolutely no sense. I am willing to let it slide for now, on the basis of seeing where it would go next year.

Also, I am still confused about this orb/Kandor thing and how, apparently, that connects to Zod. I really hope they don't bring him back. He came; they stopped him. Move onto someone else. A new villain. I swear, if it were not for Superman II, Zod would not be thrown in our faces in this show.

For the season, I gave it an "Excellent". I have really, really enjoyed this year. It feels more like a Superman show than it ever has. I also have appreciated the effort from the producers to line Smallville with DC comics established continuity (which I am guessing was partly the reasoning behind killing Jimmy and meeting little Jimmy). The only negatives of this season I had were the Lana episodes. It felt the show came to a screeching halt with those. There were elements I liked, but the Lana storyarc was terrible. However, I am willing to look turn a blind eye towards it, because I really enjoyed everything else that much.

Also, I really, really like Tess. I like that she seems to have more of a Lionel feel to her than a Lex. I am glad she isn't the one that was offed tonight.

Man, that was disappointing.

Overall, this has been a good season but this episode felt so rushed.

I wonder what they will do with the show next season? Zod again? Davis as Zod?

And is Lois now in the future with all of the Legion?

Hi All
Had a Cable outage and could not finish recording Smallville, and my cable went out at 8:24PM did not return to service until ten minutes ago does the show repeat on TV this weekend or can someone tell me where I can view it using SeaMonkey Browser or any other way to download please?

Thanks

Buck Rogers

what the heck?

and the timeline is restored with little Jimmy Olsen(who I think is a clone since he shares so many traits with his big brother)

Isn't it illogical to name two children the same name?
George Foreman named all of his children George.

I'd be impressed if they use Clark's decision to abandon his humanity (and, implicitly, his morality) to do a Justice Lords style plot, in which the Red Blue Blur starts lobotomizing criminals and issuing ultimatums to world leaders.

The CW usually stream Smallville online starting on either Sunday or Monday.

Or you can always download it from iTunes.

After years of lame anti-climatic fights, now they don't even bother? I'm not sure if that's the lamest thing ever or somehow a brave self-aware move. The couple of minutes we got with Doomsday was decent though.

I didn't even catch on that they were doing the retcon thing with Jimmy until I came here. Should have guessed his fate after he saw the red-blue blur.

I'm really caught off-guard here, I'm not sure how to process all of this tonight, it didn't go the way I expected by a long shot.

Will Tess become Ursa? She does have big eyes like Sarah Douglas, maybe she'll wear the outfit?

Blah. This show needs better writers. This was lame.

The thing that pissed me off the most? Procutus spoiling Star Trek for me. EVERYONE HAS NOT SEEN THE DAMN FILM YET! :klingon: :scream::mad::censored:

I make sure I stay away from the Star Trek movie forums, I try to avoid all spoilers for the damn thing, and you go and spoil it for me in the damn Smallville thread? I AM SO FUCKING PISSED! This is the SMALLVILLE spoiler thread, not the STAR TREK one. Consider yourself on my list.

How exactly was that a spoiler? It's in the advertisements.

It is? I haven't read those either.

It isn't right to spoil ANY plot points for a movie barely out a week in a thread about a totally different subject. If I wanted to know ANYTHING about Star Trek, I would go to that forum and that is where all such information should be kept. Part of the reason Nemesis had such poor reviews was because the entire script was leaked a year before the film came out. So I was trying to give this one as much surprise as possible. I didn't think I'd have to avoid assholish behavior of spoiling such points in a totally unrelated thread. I can see I was wrong. I may have to give up posting in this forum altogether.

Seriously, this episode premature ejaculated and didn't even give us the courtesy of cuddling afterwards. It just put its pants back on and bolted out the door without saying a word leaving us sitting there going, " :wtf: "

hahahaha!

man that right there is a perfect analogy for tonights episode. wow what a very lackluster ending! Doomsday fight fell soooo flat. So Clark spears him into a factory, it explodes and thats it?!?!?! Doomsday is pretty much invincible is he not? Some Destroyer he turned out to be. I would have at least thought we would have gotten some sort of interaction with Davis and Doomsday. When Clark was about to say Ive searched all over.....for....i thought he was gonna say Doomsday's body, but no.No mention of what Clark even did to dispose of it, or did it just burn?

Lois in the future somewhere eh? Getting boned by a 200 year old Red and Blur Blur. And the editing seemed kind of hokey. the part where chloe and clark are having their dialogue, which seems like we've heard at the end of every episode. Clark walks out the door and then make him fade out. Just looked a little jarring. Why not just have him walk out the door. Trying to symbolize it like he's gonna be gone for good, ugh man this show pisses me off.

Did we ever find out where all these Kryptonian artifacts are coming from, that Tess is somehow getting her hands on. Who keeps giving her these things? Why was this all a setup for her to get Clark to become The Hero he is destined to be, only to have it be Zod, responsible. When was the last time we saw Zod again? When he was banished from Lex's body? This episode was a complete and utter mess. Good God! What's the emoticon for bashing my head against the wall again for watching this show, hoping it will leave me somewhat satisfied?

SERENITY NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
