If Allison leaves I'm leaving...it has been looking like the writers have been finding ways of trying to write her off and she refuses to leave over the last two years. I was worried that Chloe would be one of the vetern deaths in Doomsday. I'm sure I'm not the only one around here who still has remained with the show because of Chloe...she's unique in the Smallville mythos!

Chloe is my favorite...

If only she would leave. I still say Allison Mack is the cure for Supernatural's constant woes in finding an appealing 20ish actress as a semi regular. Screw Smallville. Let the devil have her.

Maybe Season 6 if CW insists on a new season and the boys don't return. Maybe one signs and the other doesn't. They could have a deus ex machina where the dying one gets saved, but wakes up in Allison Mack's character's body.

Stranger things have happened.

What is the suits latest argument for not puttin' Clark on top of Chloe?

Surely if they wanted to put their pens behind Lois, then they should have booked the actress for more than 5 episodes this season?

Even though I want to cut the writers fingers all off, I do have the feeling that they would put Clark and Chole together into a happily ever after if suits wern't screaming to keep them separated and they enjoy some deviant pleasure from pushing the two of them to the brink of a relationship and pulling away at the last second every episode.

It's like waiting and wanting the trapeezists to fall from a great hight at the circus with every swing and throw.

Guy, your analogy with the trapeezists is dead-on target, that's exactly what it feels like watching some of the Chloe/Clark scenes. It's like one of the longest running romantic teases in television history. If Ally's contract is up after this year and she leaves at the end of the season, then they need to let it happen just once so the two characters can deal with the repercussions - possibly giving Chloe the reason she needs to leave Metroville and go somewhere else.

Question for NX: is this thread going to become our pre-Season 9 discussion, or will you be creating a separate thread for that very purpose in the near future?

If you woke up in Allison Mack's body one day, would you be able to get anything done during the day besides walking around naked and playing with your boobs?

 Alas, one won't sign up without the other. The two J's have been firm about that all along. It'll be left to Bobby or Castiel to fondle Chloe's boobs. Hey, if Dawn O thinks females 18-34 would go for it, she'd approve. ;)

Allison btw as far as I know from reading Kryptonsite signed a one year deal last summer and it was close in terms of neogitation. Also saw that they resigned Erica to 17 episodes this season and are looking to cast a character named MASON (Rex Mason, or Metamorpho). I'm going to create another Smallville Summer thread so we can move the hiatus discussion over there...

I'd like to do some thnig constructive with her bidy if I got to drive it for a day.

I think I could do some fine outsider art, if I could use her boobs like pant brushes.

your pretty messed up in the head, you know that right

Do we even need Clark any more? After all the shows not called Clarksville.
Yes, we do. Or at least I do.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I seem to remember a year or so ago, T(new)PTB were asked about what would happen if Tom Welling didn't re-sign at the end of this season, and they floated the idea of doing a show without him. And I can tell you right now, I wouldn't have watched, even with Allison still signed on for a year after the point Tom would have left. I watch for both of them, and I wouldn't want to watch one without the other.

^

What surprised me the most is how well the show worked (at least for me) missing the Clark/Lex dynamic. The season would've worked even better for me if TPTB hadn't felt the need to reintroduce Clana Angst, but I know that Kristen still had so many eps left on her contract to fullfill.

I know I definitely am not interested in seeing Smallville without Chloe. I seriously doubt they'll do it if Welling leaves at some point, so I guess I don't have to wonder if I'd watch the show w/o him.

I was watching an episode of Batman from half way through last century, and the crime had gone down, Commissioner Gordon was stumped, O'Hara did something typically stereotypical and self-deprecating, and then they dialed up the batphone, to wit Alfred answers to say that "Batman was on Holiday. You're on your own this week."

I creamed myself thinking that GCPD would actually have to do an honest days work.

Adam and Burt's Batman and Robin eventually showed up, but they were missing for sizeable chunk of the show and it did have me wondering, if just for this episode that if they had chucked the usual formula out the window that anything could happen this week. YAY?

Clark brings barely anything to the table. He gets smug, routed by kryptonite, saved by chloe and then he's smug again until the the next time he needs chloe just because he's too silly to have a sneeze reflex to the fist hint of kryptonite since the bastard gems only have an effective striking range of ten feet. they keep talking about his destiny but lets face it even kara was ten times the traveller than her was even if the first idea the writers had was to take this alien super genius and make her into a one horse town beauty queen pagent rube called Miss Cornhole ... Surely you'd just count teeth and who ever had closest to a full set would win?

Smallville was never small enough on TV.

Maybe if Chole and a monkey?

O, Welling is the monkey.

That makes so much sense.

Is the "Justice league" going to survive the recent invalerous choices they made?

We have been demanding a show called Metropolis for years.

At which point I say bring on Booster Gold!

So what if Metropoliis is about Chloe and Justice league rather than Superman?

Kill Clark, then go back in time and grab that Kid who played little clark in that flashback when Chloes memories were rotting, and have "them" as the headliners... Little chole has to force her way into the future too since that old crone who thinks she is chloe is stealing her man and then you have two Choles and a Clark living in Metropolis receiving missions from Oliver to save the world... And if the two Chole's ever touch(Great shades of Pushing Daises!) he universe will explode!

I wonder how a live action Legion of Super heroes would work out?

Ugh...talk about beating a dead horse....I wonder how many seasons CW will drag Smallville on for....I mean, Welling's hot and all...but really....
