Robau is so damn cool even his poop smells like cinnamon rolls.

    Don't ask.

Ask someone else. Robau wouldn't even let me sample the bouquet of his urine.

Robau is going to be the Boba Fett of the TREK film franchise. Seen briefly. But tons of shit will be written about his background both on and off the Kelvin because Faran Tahir is such a marvelous guy who exudes both badassness and humanity.

Faran Tahir is so damn cool, I am tempted to fly out to California, eat at his restaurant and fly back home.

I wish I could join ya!

I guess I'll have to settle for rewatching IRON MAN and eating some curry-based foods.

The Robau love still confuses me, and some people WAY oerplayed the joke, making me not interested at all in the character when I saw the movie. Beware Robau fans, you're causing Robau hate!

Robau didn't quite catch that. What was that you said?

I was certainly surprised by how little we got to see of him. But I still think he's an great character.

I'm wondering if there was a scene cut from the movie. I read on one site that there was something a bit after he got "run through" by Nero.

You mean when Nero tore Robau's shirt?

LOL! Yeah! No, it was something where he got stabbed and dropped to the deck. Nero and Ayel then turn to prepare to finish off the Kelvin, and Robau got up to try and fight them or something with his last bit of strength.

I'm not dreaming this - I read it somewhere online.

I'm not part of the fan club but I think he's a serious actor, got a little recognition from me in his 24 tv stuff, I just kinda took note of his face nothing more. Then came Ironman a huge hit for Paramount. He really brought the whole TenRings role to life. Finally Trek and as short a time he had onscreen he really nailed it, I think this is an actor to look out for.

Robau has already anticipated that. You just can't achive this level of legendary badassness and not expect a little backlash. I would think a man of Robau's status is already waiting eagerly for the flaming effigies to begin.

Chris Hemsworth (George Kirk)'s STARmeter on IMDB is stratospheric right now -- holding at about 3.197%. to give it some perspective -- Chris Pine's is at 90% and Rachel Nichols (Gaila) -- 960%. those (the 900%s) are on the high side. I believe Hemsworth's is the outlier.

Faran Tahir's is at 698%, incidentally.

basially, I think it takes into account the buzz at the message boards for each actor (I might be wrong).

EDIT: uh, Chris Pine's is at 900%. sorry.
