This also means a new (reboot) TV series.

Many of the actors from the movie won't do a TV series. It's going to have to be a Voyager-esque spinoff.

Bryan Fuller was reported as saying he would like to do a show set on a different ship in the J.J univerese but same clas of ship. Basically a TOS version 2.0 . I would hope JJ might team up with Fuller but till till after any sequel if not the trilogy planned by Paramount.

Sequel in 2011 and then I would pefer a 3 year gap to any 3rd film to make a trilogy. Assuming the box office numbers don't get so high that Paramount don't want to stay away from TV forever and stick to Box office, I would like to see a TV show in the fall of 2015 so its 10 years since Enterprise and the last time Trek was on TV.

I don't Paramount is going to wait nearly that long. With this kind of money coming in they will likely rush the new series out the door.
