I don't get why you expect Saturday night to do less than Friday?
Is there a good site to track all this ?
I always heard about boxofficemojo but their Trek page mentions nothing about its performance so far.
They even have the production budget as N/A

Here in Australia, for most people the working week finishes on Friday afternoon and I'd say most people would be too tired to go out on a Friday evening.
Try going to one of the local cinema complexes on a Saturday night and you will see something COMPLETELY different. Saturday night is THE BIG night out here in Australia because for most people, they can sleep in Sunday and have had all day Saturday to gear up for "a night out on the piss".![]()

Mojo is good, but never posts anything until numbers are official. They don't post leaks of numbers like Nikki Finke does. Honestly, the best place to track it is messageboards, though that's a bit of a time investment. Worldofkj is a good messageboard for box office:

Thanks.
Though I was looking more for a boxofficemojo kind of page.
Another forum is a bit too much to track at the moment.
But I'm sure you guys here will keep us informed![]()
All that's left now is casting for the "Dark Knight" episode of the reborn franchise. We've had "Batman Begins". Even more will be expected of these people-and a much better, much more well put together story.
It still disappoints me that more people saw Wolverine than Trek considering the reviews and everything.
Also if it really only makes 70ish Million, breaking 200 Million is going to be nearly impossible.
