Let's say that DC finds itself in a position to purchase some "lesser" characters from the competition. If so, I'd like DC to pick up the following:
IRON FIST--Honestly, DC's heroes from the martial arts tradition (Richard Dragon, Bronze Tiger) have never made much of an impression on me. But I have enjoyed Iron Fist, starting with some of the early stories drawn by John Byrne. I think Iron Fist would be a bigger star at DC.
HERCULES--In the alternate universe of DC, Herc has some very serious history with Hypolyta, Wonder Woman's mother. I'd enjoy seeing Hercules shake up the DC balance of power. The power and personality that he brings (not to mention the promise of tension with Wonder Woman) would be worth my money.
PUNISHER--I really want him for the Batman universe, which can never have too many vengeful vigilantes.
What if Marvel could buy some DC characters? As far as I'm concerned, Marvel can have Red Tornado. I've just never understood Reddy's appeal.
