I thought this could be a fun "listing" thread, but with on a slight twist on the usual favorite movies type thing
With the advent of DVD and season box sets, seeing every last episode is much easier to accomplish, but I was thinking just now that there are a ton of shows That I adore where I have not even come close to seeing all the episodes.
Obviously short run shows have an advantage, and some longer running shows are nearly impossible (I wager no one has seen every episode of The Daily Show)
With all that said....
Shows I've seen every episode of,
TOS - The reason I'm here, of course I've seen them all. I actually saw all of these first when they were run on the sci-fi channel and before I had a dvd player. I have many fond memories of watching this show after school. It was really special, seeing it one ep at a time, when I was still a kid.
TNG - this is the longest running show I've seen every episode of. I got the dvds, but watched the seasons completely out of sequence, as I bought the sets as I could find them cheaply. The bitch was the season cliffhangers, which often wouldn't get resolved for some 50 episodes and several months later when I got the next set.
Twin Peaks - Short Run, but watched it exclusively with my gf over a period of several months. I was suprisingly able to stay spoiler free during that time.
Firefly- watched in in a period of about three days, then watched it again. really fun times. my girlfriend introduced me early in our relationship. It was a sign that she was a keeper
Adventures of Sherlock Holmes - haven't read all the stories yet, but did see all of this.
The Prisoner - actually finally saw all of this. There were around two episodes I hadn't seen until just a few weeks back, even though I had seen the others several times
I'm currently working on DS9 and 24. I love Dexter too, but decided just to wait for the dvd release of season 3.
Shows I love, but haven't come close
MST3K- don't like watching stuff online, wish the complicated rights issues allowed for more comprehensive sets.
The A-team - like the show, but the interchangable quality of the episodes never attracted me to watch every one
Batman (1960's) - Love this show, but it's almost impossible to find outside of bootlegs. also, I can't stand the third season.
