She's the real Cameron. The one that terminator Cameron snapped the neck from.

I'm a little foggy on that myself. Was that Future-John he was seeing? And since the dog wasn't going ballistic on Cam, was she the real deal?

The future really has been changed alot. They don't know who John Connor is, Allison Young was not killed by a Terminator, Kyle is still alive.

That wasn't future-John, that was Kyle Reese. He appeared in the hallucinations that Sarah was having after being shot in last seasons finale.

Derek said he doesn't know who John Connor is so the timeline that John has jumped forward in is one that is based on him never existing in the past from when he and Weaver time-traveled from the lab.

I think I missed that one, I'm going to have to see if it's on hulu/fox.

Who looks and acts nothing like Kyle Reese, I've never been able to accept that one.

Thanks for that, it's getting to the point where we need a scorecard to keep track of the various 'futures' that are coming into play. Interesting though, that things have still gone to hell, just like in the previous futures. It's definitely Destiny, or so it seems.

It depends on tonight's ratings, DVR, viewings, etc.

Since it ended on such a perfect ending most likely yes.

After spinning a lot of wheels for 21 episodes, this was a great episode but it could have used more resolution. I have no doubt this show is canceled, so ending on one huge unresolving cliffhanger is pretty annoying. I guess we know why Derek's death was so much of an afterthought now. I did think that the Skynet jet crashing through the window was pretty cool. And the fact that the EELS were part of her metal body?! What a hilarious WTF moment. I guess that way if her main body is killed a part of her would have survived. And why would John abandon his dying mother just to go after his robo-girlfriend? Because she let him slice up her boobies? Yeesh.

So am i crazy, or was Sarah saying goodbye to someone OTHER than John at the end of the episode, or did I just miss something?

Preempted for weather coverage... what a kick in the nuts.

I'm assuming that Derek not knowing who Connor was merely meant that this is before Derek heard of Connor, in the earlier years of the war. After all Connor didn't become the messiah overnight. At first he was just another grunt who slowly rose through the ranks. I actually just finished reaching the movie prequel novel (From the Ashes by Timothy Zahn) and in that Connor is just a leader of a small ragtag group of rebels trying to get himself in with the main Resistance.

That's my guess. It's a new timeline in which Allison Young lives (and I guess Cameron's body, at least, never existed) and John Henry/Cromartie/Transexual Cam is fighting Skynet in John Connor's place. However, because the war is still going on, I guess Weaver and JH weren't successful, so John Connor is still necessary.

Honestly, I don't know how much I like this episode as a series finale at first blush, as it definitely seems like the writers and producers threw caution to the wind and completely changed course with the jump into the future. The premise of the show, to me, had always been fighting in the present to save the future. Too much of a sudden cliffhanger to work as a swan song for me.

However, as a season finale, I like it, since there's room for more closure and perhaps seeing what exactly Weaver and JH/Cam are doing. That's a huge loose end. There just isn't enough resolution for this episode to stand as a series finale in my book.

I'll vote "above average" with the firm hope that the show comes back.

So, does hulu.com count for viewings or not?

John jumped forward in time which meant that - from a temporal standpoint - there would be no John Connor from the point in time in which he left.

Josh Friedman said when discussing the series that he felt Judgment Day was inevitable.

All my information says yes. Fox.Com is better though because the adverts are forced on you and you can't bypass them.
