I watched the awards (hey, I'm a kid at heart, ok?

), and was surprised when Pine was among those said to appear, at the beginning. I figured he could only be there because of Star Trek, since he really hasn't done anything else recently. It was nice for the whole "conversation" between him and America Ferrera to be about Trek. Though I was a bit annoyed that America did the Vulcan salute wrong (she did it with the back of her hand facing forward). And what's funny is that I bet hardly any of those kids knows who the heck Star Trek is, much less Kirk (other than the previews they may have seen for the movie).
