Warren Ellis is a ''VERY'' good writer. I'm currently reading two of his current ongoing series from AVATAR press, DOKTOR SLEEPLESS, NO HERO, Both books are excellent. I however prefer No Hero, tons more action & weirdness!
What do you mean "probably"?
have you been following the still Ellisesque Machine Mans adventures in Ms Marvel?
read the original X-Men from the 60s and Giant-Sized X-Men of the 70s
^And yeah, Wein's and Claremont's dialogue is fun to make fun of. "Quickly Storm, use your power to control the weather to make a hurricane to take care of Mystique and Blob. Nightcrawler, I think it would a be a good idea for you to use that funny little ability of yours to teleport behind Magneto and knockhim out. Angel....er...yeah....why don't you go and use your ability to... flap.... and tell the others we're done here. Please stop crying...".
