So what are you reading now?

I've recently finished Titan: Over a Torrent Sea (great stuff), as well as the Voyager: Spirit Walk duology (third reading and I still like it:)). Currently, i'm reading both Mere Anarchy (lovin' it:techman:) and MJF's 4th Stargazer book, Oblivion. Also patiently waiting for Full Circle:drool:...
I really didn't like Homecoming/The Farther Shore, but I thought Spirit Walk was kinda nifty. So I'm right there with you :)

MJF's Stargazer books are on my list eventually; right now I'm re-reading Double Helix, as part of a re-read of all the Ordover miniseries. I'm on Red Sector. I liked Captain's Table a lot more than Double Helix, so far.

I'm two thirds of the way through McDermott's Tomb of Hercules and will then move on to Over a Torrent Sea for the commute.

Meanwhile, my home reading is currently split between Incident at Arbuk, with which I am almost finished; and Canavan's Voice of the Gods, after which I will move on to Mere Anarchy.

So Thrawn, have you read LS & The Shadows of Mindor? I was also considering reading it too.

I've bought it but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I've read all of Stover's other books, Star Wars or otherwise, excepting the first two which were out of print already by the time I discovered him with Traitor, and I've found all of them to be absolutely incredible. I'll happily buy anything he writes in any universe.

His books are a bit...intense, though, and lately I've been in the mood for lighter fare. I'm enjoying more than I expected reading through these old Trek miniseries; with the occasional notable exception, they aren't really anywhere near the quality of the stuff Marco edited, but there's some nice solid derring do and characterization. Except Day Of Honor, which is crap ;)

I'm also 3 books in on Star Wars:LOTF. I will eventually jump back to that.

Not to be a broken record or anything, but... take your time. It just gets worse from there.

I rather liked Legacy but still havn't read Invinsible as I'm awaiting it to come out in MMPB which should be in the next few weeks. As for Fate, I'll wait till they're out in MMPB as getting them all in HB is a bit pricey, plus isn't one of the writers Ms Golden?

Yep. They've switched out Karen Traviss and her one-note Mandalorian fetish for Christie Golden in the line-up from the previous nine-ology. Myself, I'm looking forward to the protrayal of Leia as a giggly schoolgirl.

Fictitiously yours, Trent Roman

I gave up on Star Wars lit during the horrible Dark Nest trilogy.

I'm currently re-reading the first seven books of Piers Anthony's Incarnations of Immortality (I just finished the fairly recently released book 8 a week ago).

I've recently finished the Faction Paradox novel Erasing Sherlock and the latest Voyager book, Full Circle. I'm currently working on The Satanic Verses and digging through my bookshelves for something lighter to read alongside it.

Just finished Over a Torrent Sea...getting ready to start something short and sweet while waiting for the next Star Wars novel to get delivered form Amazon. Probably book 3 of the Sookie Stackhouse stuff rather than a Dresden which can be meaty.

And there's the "order shipped" email, so whatever I read will have to be 2 - 3 days.

OTOH I do have Twist of Faith to read (well, re-read, I had borrowed the relaunch novels years ago from someone that's no longer a friend) and Warpath will be in the upcoming Amazon shipment.

I'm re-reading the Voyager book "Incident At Arbuk" by John Greggory Betancourt. A very good, exciting and entertaining book.

I recently finished Mirror Universe: Obsidian Alliances. Since then I've read Sherlock Holmes: The Yellow Face, The Stock-broker's Clerk, The "Gloria Scott", The Musgrave Ritual, and The Reigate Puzzle. I'm now on The Crooked Man.

I have decided to re-read TEARS OF THE SINGERS...loved it back in the day, and hardly remember why..so I hope it is just as good as a rerun. Captain Morgan has helped make those old reading days a hazy shade of winter...

I'm actually taking a break from Star Trek: Destiny. It's gotten too depressing for me. I mean, im sure that's the point, but i'd rather read some good old-fashioned light hearted trek. All this doom and gloom in Destiny has been a little too much for me now.

"Doom and gloom", eh? Finish the trilogy and I bet you'll think differently. ;)
