I was wondering something a few days ago. We've Sombrero-ized ships from TOS, the movies, TNG, DS9, & Enterprise. Has Voyager ever been Sombrero-ized? Have we allowed an entire series to slip by the wayside here?

It wouldn't surprise me at all to find that there had been. You want to see that kind of thing in action, go check out the "Great Trek Screencap Game" thread in GTD. Some of those guys are scary good at reading the little details to identify the ep from which a given image is taken.

There was a sombrero voyager in there somewhere. Bout 100 pages back. No idea how to find it, I can't remember who did it.

There was one in there, but I can't find it now. Maybe someone deleted it from their photobucket account.

I will say, trawling through all those pages - I noted how many people were still sporting sombrero based avatars. Mainly people who don't often post in this thread. It was heart-warming to say the least. Lots of us have dropped them (i'm wearing my adapted one again), but there are still quite a lot on view.

Maybe one day, somebody will write a paper on this meme. We were starved for info back in May 08, its funny how this thread struck a chord with everyone.
