Okay, that seals it. I'm seeing Slumdog Millionaire as soon as I can.

A good grouping of nominees overall (at least based on the three I've seen). I would've been fine with any of them winning.

Wow, are they finished before midnight? Not bad.

This might be a good movie. But it looks like a one view, "that was interesting" never watch again or think about again type. Which was my reaction when I saw "Crash".

Star Trek? I am not sure. I been turning my head from my computer to my TV.

Ratings predictions? Last years was a record low. I be surprised if this was a huge improvement. Hugh was a great host. But many of these movies have little broad appeal. Ledger's win may have drawn interest but it was such a foregone conclusion that many may just have assumed he would win and not watch for that.

I'm not one of those armchair producer types around here, I don't want to see a show simply succeed I want it to be good though that's a good sign in confidence.
