I disagree. Penn was BRILLIANT in Milk. I may not like the man, but he is a fine performer.

I went in expecting The Reader to be an indie/art house/erotica film, just from what I had seen from commercials, and it was that but so much more! The last half has a courtroom trial, so it gets a little talky, but it was enjoyable. I didn't know that Ralph Fiennes was in it either, so it was a great surprise seeing him in the film.
You could watch the movie or the hundreds of shows aired before the Oscars that played clips of the actors performances.

Yeah. Why give the people at hope clips of these nominees. They've seen all of these movies, right?
Why do they need to SEE what's up for nomination? It's better to hear people talk for minutes on end about the performer!
